I can't remember what we were studying, but I took trig my senior year. I could not use the "proper" formula, but somehow came up with my own way of doing it and I got the right answer every time. It blew my teacher's mind. She kept throwing equations at me and I kept getting the right answer doing it my way. She finally just accepted that my way also worked and was happy as long I was getting the right answer.

I wasn't done with them, but teacher gave us more questions and said that we were supposed to do the new questions first, so I wrote "to be continued" below the incomplete questions and started with the new ones. Teacher checked my book and saw it and everyone laughed.
I gotta hope there a few out there that still believe in encouraging the creative spark and not killing it. I particularly love the one where the kid answers "why?" and the teacher responds with: "Always question the man!"

I have no idea what kind of test that is. Those questions are totally unrelated, and some don't even make sense. That seems like something some typed out to give those specific answers and then pretend it was a test.
