Was almost about to bin my P3 12" when I stumbled into this video, I used and epoxy glue and it worked a treat. Fully stoked, thanks for posting this man you saved me forking out for a new sub
I've been looking at TH-cam videos for two days now and almost made the a huge mistake of trying to recone my p3 15!! Then I came across your video an i fixed my sub in less then 5 minutes n not including dry time for the adhesive! Great job bro thanks...
my p2 doing a bit of a rattle. i checked to see if the red was separated- it's not... i checked the ohms on the terminals.... one side is reading ZERO and the other side is reading 0.03 or some shyt. im tossing it guys. thats it for me. good thing i have a couple more i can blow!
@@FaZeMandTaZeM when I inspected it, the spider, where there is that ring that goes around the former, and has glue, was cracked all around. It wasnt staying with the former when the sub was playing causing the noise. Some better glue cleared it up.
I think it might be my box that came apart lol I was looking at it like 15 min ago and noticed the back of my custom box came apart, my box is like 3 feet deep and I noticed the sound coming from The back while the subs are InThe front so I’m thinking it’s that… if not I will pull out each p3 and check them individually. I have a Rockford fosgate m1200d powering them and the freq/hertz adjustment knob messes up when you try to adjust it like it starts slapping and clipping the subs till you stop touching it , Do you know why that is?
@@FaZeMandTaZeM I don't maybe insufficient power ? My jl 1000/1v2 does that sometimes. Like I'll notice the subs slam when I mess with thr gain. And sometimes when I start the car they sound normal but sometimes they are being pushed yo the literally max capacity of the amp getting clipped to shit
Guys please don't use superglue use my a6000 the gorilla E6000 epoxy will work but you want something that's going to be rubberized that won't bounce off and make a rattling noise cuz if you use like a super glue all it does is just going to get hard and then crack eventually overtime with the heat you something like a silicone or E6000 will be perfect its rubberized when it dries up and you will fix that and it'll actually hold for a longer time I mean pretty much until you blow speaker that's just my opinion

I'm getting this same sound from my p1 15 and I've tried gluing it atleast 3 times all the way around, problem is persistent.
What do i do if the cone came off the spider and coil please help
My alpine X W12 just blew, was looking to replace with a rockford but looks like you guys got issues too.
Wow... my P|3 15 just started doing the same thing. What type of glue to use?
What kind of glue did you use?
Sounds like it's still there doesn't it? Just not as bad.
Thanks you !
Awesome video. I need to do this to my t2 subs. Not as much room on my sub though. How long did repair last.
Mine has a slight rattle brand new
What type of glue do I use
Epoxy
Why did you use super glue though shouldn't you have went with the high heat silicone
Epoxy is better
Mines making a "flappy" noise on the lows. Idk what it is, doesn't sound like that... I hopenit ain't blown
Mine too what did you conclude with your issue?

Mine was sacrificed to the cause
Surgical scalpel
