My 1978 and 1979 toyota corolla sedans have a working handbrake (drum brakes on the rear) my 1986 toyota corona one works too, although with that one i had to lock the self adjuster in place as it was causing it to self adjust to far when you use it for drifting and caused the brake on the right hand side to drag after a few corners

Perfect project for Origin Labo bumpers and wide fenders plus CF / FRP body parts. Nardi Deep corn steering wheel fixes the steering wheel issue. Just cut the spare tyre area off and replace with flat surface.
I don’t know why, but I like AE86 that looks like this more than the fresh built one, rust, dent and signs of road abuse of these cars just make them very attractive to me, am I the only one that likes the old beat up 86??

It would need extensive fab work to clean up all the rust and weld plates over the holes to strengthen it and bring back some rigidity. And they're not rare at all, just expensive. And he doesn't live in the US.
