I remember getting easy points in this just by doing researching back in the main cellar and decomposing items for materials. Then you can assign a zombie to just make skill books repeatedly after a while. Buying books from the Researcher at the lighthouse is probably best bet early on though for points.
@@DragoonCheetah study body parts -> research zombie farming and... lumbering?-> get enough seeds -> farm stuff then: green points - just cook something. Aside from bread, you will need flour for unlocking higher tier Miller merch. red points - logs (from zombies) -> billets -> firewood (sell to unlock higher tier for most merchants). If unlocked, logs -> planks. blue - study body parts and make gravestones at stonecutter. Higher skull count means more money from church anyway.
Farming gives a lot of great points, spam wooden signs for the graves for red points, and the stone one at the stone cutter 2 for 5 red and 5 blue, you can crank out hundreds of points within a week I got my skill tree maxed out and I'm only week 4
I bought this game yesterday because I remembered the video you made on it and wanted to try it for myself, what a coincidence you now upload another video on it!
A bunch of advices: To get quick money, work with the merchant and get ready a tone of nails and you can get about 1,5 gold coin every week To get quick green points: Just dig sand/clay, gives 1 point per each dig and its quite fast To get quick blue points: if you got enough money, spend some on books from the astrologer, he has some good books for that stuff, also research anything grave/dead body related on the research table. Also try to rush to the crematorium, it is easy and gives money.
Tips to play this game and actually have fun: Farming makes life a lot easier, you can make bank selling crops with the merchant. You can also cook carrots early in game and have lots of energy to the point where you barely need to sleep. Make and research graveyard items for blue points, buy blue and red points each week from the astrologist at the lighthouse. Make speed potions as soon as you can (or buy them from the witch, you need hemp, blood and batwings) It will double your speed and you will be able to zip around and accomplish many things in one day. Once you use strategy about what tech you invest in, it becomes much easier.
3:37 made me think that this is a really cracked-out retelling of The Little Red Hen. Instead of "who will help me bake the bread?" it's "hey, dude in a dress, build me a tavern for cheap."
Make marble gravestones and walls, it's a blue point gold mine and it'll deck out your graveyard for that sweet sweet gold and faith you keep running out of. You can also buy books from the astronomer. Good blue point research also from all grave decorations.
I know it won't be enough for a full video, but I know of two graves off the property. One is behind the destroyed house on Witch Hill, and the other is in the north wheat field. It might be fun to toy with them.
That's kinda part of the charm though. It's a tech tree kinda game. Course, I also enjoy House Flipper, a game where you legit just clean up and refurbish houses.
@Chepe Chepe All Lazy Bear Games are like that. I think Punch Club was the worse out of them. That one felt like a manager grind fest that ultimately led to nothing.
My man buy a teleport stone to get around and you can put zombies on any station and have them work in tandem with you or through the night to make it easier you can even set them to infinitely make things from the things the the porters bring and the you can sell it in bulk crates to the merchant
So, for hop seeds you get him to sell you them by buying flour off of him. Flour turns into bread which can be sold at a small profit to the barkeep. Who you can then buy the beer from to put in your Tavern.
just smelt the silver into bars and sell that to the merchat and craft shovels and sell them to the blacksmith. Its WAY easyier and he pays really good for shovels, especially shovel 2. Also he will sell them and have more money in stock later so you can sell even more shovels. Ohand graphite. Smelt your coal into graphite and sell that - the price is not going down when you sell a lot of it.
That dumb merchant guy who gave you hell over the little farm near your house sells grapes for wine and the guy at the mill sells hops on tier 2 and 3. You can also make food to sell too. That and wine is pretty good for money I've found. As for blue points, study body parts and grab the blue books when you have enough from the wizard/astrologer dude. That's what I've done at least.
I love this game. I know I bought it because I saw it on this channel! The early game grind is real in GYK! I hope you'll keep on with more content on the new dlc
this does not work anymore. you'll only get red. best way to get blue is by studying, writing books, or even buying books from lighthouse guy on sloth day.
@@Evilbunny622 Or you could do what I did to get the blue stuff. Buy the books that give blue exp every week from the astrologer. Though DF is rather... uh... early in the game.
@@Evilbunny622 You still get blue from smelting the conical flasks and the advanced ones. You only get one per each, but it's something! You used to get blue by smelting sand to glass and that's the one they nerfed.
nice. I still want to see DF get his Zombie Army completed. But I'm really happy he even played this game again... I'm gonna have to buy the DLC and try it myself. ^_^
This game can be tedious. I bought and played basic game after watching your video. Tavern owner sells teleport stones and using tunnel to village from basement is faster when walking. Burning corpses is also ok way to get money when you don't want to burry them. And quality of graveyard dictates how much you get money from sermon. Better way to get money in base game is completing quests to the merchant and then selling stuff to him.
Please play 7 Days to Die, DF. It's on sale for really cheap right now on steam, and it's a really fun game to play in groups. I'd like to see any crazy ideas you end up coming up with, and you have to play the latest experimental build. I'm sure you can make an awesome death trap base for a really high number of zombies spawns on the bloodmoon.
Before researching its always good to use a food item that has a bonus to the blue ( science ) points you earn from things. ( There is also some things you can harvest for blue points but forgot what they where.. and it wont give as much as researching something. ) Doubt you will see this but I figured I would let you know. ( The food item really helps with getting the points.. There is also another food item that increases the length of the bonus/buffs from other food items. )
Great content DF! My only feed back is, there's some very low volume static that comes through when you talk. Idk if they're just auditory artifacts or what but it's noticable

This needs to be a lot higher. I remember being broke on points and finally figuring that out. Made the game a lot easier.
Best bet mid to late game. Books are expensive and I doubt DF has the time to grind out solid money making in Graveyard Keeper

This game is actually kinda fun. When _someone else_ is suffering through the grind.
I bought this game yesterday because I remembered the video DF made on it and wanted to try it for myself, damn was I unprepared for the grind.
Yeah I suffered to get all the achievements and I didnt played it since then :D
Yeah I grinded every thing basically finished all until I learned I needed to make the gold burgers and beer and was so tired of grind just quit
I can even hear DF saying that!
Eh, I kind of like it
I've missed the Graveyard Keeper videos !! Good to see them back !
Ah yeah I remember when Df talked about this game before it was even out. Or that never happened... but if it did, I remember
Last time I was this early DF still played Stardew Valley.
That member tag red next to ur name reminds me of the stranger things logo.....
Can't wait till the 1.4 update for the game to see DF play again
@@robertorivas527 same i miss stardew valley!!

I would love more of graveyard keeper.
Honestly I love this game and the rabbit holes you have to traverse to do everything
A good way to get green points is shoveling up clay, especially with the best shovel. The node never runs out =D

I'll leave a like in compensation.

You really need the Kirapedia for this game haha!!
Are you going to make a video on the tavern too?
No pressure.

Selling wine and burial certificates is the best way for me. I would say fishing too but it sucks
I'm surprised your not using your teleport stone, it may have a cooldown, but it still makes it at least a bit faster to do stuff
