Hello. Had the same feeling. Liziqi inspired me to actually do something about it. We decided to make our own cellos (like a vodka with different flavors), bread etc. Basically we just got back go basics with few things in our lifes. Maybe pandemic is actually good opportunity to slow down a little?

Something tells me most of us who are gathered here watching this channel have similar values and deeply appreciate a life like hers with simple beauty and just truly living. I grew up with my grandparents similar but not exactly or as quiet as laborious as her life is and that life that I had with my grandparents to me was still the best. My grandpa used to make bricks in exchange for water and we would all go bring water and I used to do my homework buy oil lamp and I've never understood why people need so much when you can have so much more with so little.

The fun part is that she fries everything everytime but I don't feel like "that's too much oil you should put less"
Vegetable oil is not a problem, it was in the condition of liquid at the body temperature, so, easy to be excreted. The problem is some kinds of cheese or butter or butter-like oil, they are in the solid condition at the body temperature, and hard to be excreted, hence accumulated in your body. This is why you see far less overweight Chinese.
I also think that with the amount of veggies she added in the oil is just enough 😉
@KhmerD0g Most Chinese ( > 99%) do not have the tradition of using Coconut oil, which is not the main source of cooking oil. Using a lot of oil to cook is different from eating a lot of oil, Li Ziqi and grandma look very healthy and not FAT.

虽然没有特别的声明我觉得有必要转发一下 转自子柒微博备注: 柴火鸡的做法略不同于其他，别的肉菜一般先炒料后炒肉，柴火鸡是先炒鸡肉3到5分钟上糖色，再炒料。根据配菜决定加水的多少以及煮菜的时间。还有锅边馍的面不要太干，不然贴不住锅边。一般面团也不用发酵，只是我自己喜欢吃发酵过的所以加了酵母粉。煮饭这个东西一通百通没固定讲究，自个儿喜欢就好。
