Hats off to Loren for introducing to this fabulous song, she is a good singer and when I first heard it I loved it. But after hearing Morissette sing it, it became another level and no one, I mean no one, can sing this like Morissette. My opinion because I know there are Morissette haters out there and they will have something to say negatively about her but that's life.
When Loren sings it there are at least 9-10 musicians with violins and such, a whole orchestra, when Morissette sings it she has 3 musicians plus David. The music sounds better in Loren's version but Morissette's voice is what takes her version to the top. A very good vocal performance from Loren but a spectacular one from Morissette.
I can't choose who's better because both sang their pieces beautifully as they should. But Morissette's performance is more powerful and has a higher range.

You must have a sad life that all you think about is Mori. But, you know, there is 1 thing that you can never claim, and that Loren is the singer they hired to sing the original song for the movie.
