How are people not seeing her talent? Simple - record companies have NO clue how to market her. She's not hip-hop, she's not rap, she's not bubble-gum, she's not Top-40 radio, she doesn't appeal to the teeny-bopper crowd - that's why record companies don't know how to market her. She has also said in interviews that she will NOT compromise her values to the sleazy underside of the record industry just to be famous, and that alone says an awful lot about her and her integrity. However, exposure like this will bring her lots and lots of work, she'll be on her way!
That’s what I am saying! She is soooo incredible and If I was in a position to sign her, I would in a heartbeat. I will be listening to all the requests of her, I can’t wait to react to more!
I Break into tears every time I hear her sing- from David Foster to BGT to Omearas to Joe’s Pub to Indonesia to the Game awards. Even the Garden State Art Center and PIX TV. This was a spectacular performance and she looks even more beautiful than before. She wasn’t given a fair shot on the Voice a dozen years ago, but let’s hope this will be her ticket. I also hope we get to hear “Last Thing I’ll Ever Need”, which I consider a brilliant song that she wrote. I guess we’ll have to wait until tomorrow night to see if she makes it through to the next round. Also, maybe the Golden Buzzer was already used on an earlier contestant.
