The original is better. Lauren’s voice fits the song a lot better than Morissette’ in my opinion. Morissette still did an amazing job and made it look extremely easy.
I agree with you Ive heard so many covers of this song but I always come to Morissette, in fact for me her version is the standard of all covers, and honestly I like her version better than the original too.
Morissette’s version of this song is far better than the original. Her voice is powerful.

I'm going to say she made enough subtle changes in this one to have it stand on it's own. This one went a little smoother. I'll be interested to see if the next night it was different or tighter. She sounds great both nights.

Our love song is Ikaw by Yeng Constantino but she's the reason I fell in love with her and also filipino music. So many beautiful voices are from the Philippines like you and Mori.
