Happy Holidays
I watch your concert and cry with delight. ( and drink whiskey)). You are real and the music is real, as well as life and love. One of the best concerts of my life! Thank you! With love from Russia😍
Have to be one of the best bluegrass bands I have heard in my 60 years, keep it up boy's, you guys are going far, proud to be living in Saskatchewan, who says we don't put out talent?
OMG, apparently I have been living under rock, How have these guys alluded me? Raised on blue grass turned headbanger, just found her new love!!! Snatched up tickets for 2021, finger's crossed.
I truly hope that The Dead South achieves the success that they so rightfully deserve. With that being said, I also hope that they stays true to themselves and their music, for they are a one of a kind. Don't let petty differences or egos drive a wedge between anyone. You need to be stronger than your egos or emotions.
I hope they can stay true and keep the band drama to a minimum. I absolutely love their unique sound, weird style and these guys are extremely talented musicians! Takes a lot to take my breath away.
Tbh I think danny went to do his PhD or masters degree and the banjo player had some personal issues but all members of the band can sing and play multiple instruments. Amazing guys.
Can only watch these dudes from afar(Australia) but have seen nearly all (that I can find) of live shows, and the Red Rock show is by far the best I've seen. Keep it up!!
I flew there for Wardruna last year and was blown away by how special of a place Red Rocks is. Definitely worth it to go to this venue and see an artist you love! As for me, the one time I saw Dead South was in a beer tent behind my apartment during Stampede. Only two years but feels like a lifetime ago already.
Fantastically unique sound and oh so entertaining. I am always having images of dusty prairies and deserts, cowboys and gunslingers on horse back, and good ole fashioned Spaghetti Westerns (think Maestro Ennio Morricone) running thru my mind when listening to their music- Good Stuff!!
I was born in 1970, was raised by my parents on the blues, and already at the age of 13 I was well versed in all this. Blues in life with me! Super collection Thank you very much
I found this Great Band on TH-cam in 2018, and saw them in concert in 19. I really don’t know any new country songs on the radio because all I listen to is The Dead South. Y’all keep bringing us more great foot stompin’ music.
Fantastic show! A new generation of musicians playing instruments, harmonizing and writing great songs warms my heart. Keep playing your asses off because you will find big, appreciative audiences wherever you go. 👍😁
I will never forget the night at Red Rocks where I saw Stevie Ray, BB King, and the Allman Brothers back to back on a beautiful Colorado summer night. It was my last real date night with my wife, who two weeks later was killed in an auto accident. I still remember her smile as we danced in the twilight. Such memories of this place.
My fiancé proposed to me with “Honey You” playing in the background, sense then The Dead South has held such a special place in my heart... can’t wait for y’all to come back to Dallas!!
Honey You is one of my favourite songs and I've always imagined a proposal like this :) Unfortunately, this will never happen, cause my boyfriend is not a fan of TDS and bluegrass as well (at least, I got tickets to a concert, so no complains here :D).. So I'm just sitting here for a few minutes with a smile on my face, being a little jealous and wishing you love and luck!

Don't struggle alone brother/sister reach out for a hand in the dark and know you're not alone. Sláinte.
@@ezzlivin TH-cam didnt even show your replies, that makes me sad, thank you so much for answering!
The natural amphitheatre created by the rock formation is magnificent. What an awesome place for a Dead South concert.
Red rocks is on my bucket list.
Yeah, and they just ALL looked like they were having fun...
Wish I was there they said trampled by turtles was on before them what an amazing show
A very unusual group to say the least
have never heard the likes of them before
absolute magic, so many fantastic songs,
and the banjo player is something else. 🪕🪕
I've been hearing them on the radio for two weeks ... I've been addicted ever since (HUNGARY)
Why is this band so delightful? I've watched them since "In Hell..." became so popular it ran into my radar. Even my wife, who believes only Classic Rock is worth listening to, loves The Dead South.
I just love you guys. I'm pretty sure that I have listened to at least one Dead South song every day since I stumbled across this awesome band about six
Months ago.
Red Rocks might possibly be one of the coolest venues in the world IMHO. 🍻🇺🇸
It definitely is the most amazing place on Earth!
I went to this concert and it was my first time hearing the dead south and I instantly fell in love with the music
Very much appreciated. Life aint easy and hearing you guys was a spirit lifter
Killing beleavers at least.
Love y'alls music a man with DEMENTIA can't hope to ever see you guys in person as I'm in Oregon, USA and you're in CANADA but still love your music and THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR WORLD WITH US LOVE YOU ALL
These guys got it all together they've taken bluegrass to a whole new level so smile and boogy along to some awesome foot stomping music. Please include North Central Florida ( Gainesville/Jacksonville) when the ban on concerts is lifted and chase our blues away 🎶🎻🎸❤
Hell yeah
Don't forget Clearwater/Tampa again! Last time was a blast!
AND MTL please, thanks! We miss you dearly in Qc and are in desperate need of stompin' good times xox💚😘 stay safe boys
@@iross1981 They're playing in Pensacola and Key West in January which is cost prohibitive for me. I've been asking for the boys to play in Jacksonville, Gainesville or St. Augustine for some time now I've even offered a case of Jameson if they did so I ask what's it gonna take to make it happen? Happy Holidays
Надзвичайно енергійна музика і виконавці, продожуйте в тому дусі,хлопці!
Impressive. dont stop, boys!
I was yesterday old when I found the Dead South, and man o man, I've been missing out... good Canadian boys too, I can't hardly believe it!
I love this interplay of excellent command of the musical instruments and the special voices. Wow that's the top cream.
Best band from Canada I ever heard. These guys have potential every where
Yes,bin a
Deutschland, aber the Musik is my
I'm a BiG fan as well but I wouldn't go that far....✌
Jeff Heiks.....try also Walk off the Earth from Canada
Don't forget Ian & Sylvia 1965
OMG, apparently I have been living under rock, How have these guys alluded me? Raised on blue grass turned headbanger, just found her new love!!! Snatched up tickets for 2021, finger's crossed.
Welcome!
same happened to me - over 200 million views for some of their vids - where have I been?
What an amazing talented band absolutely amazing!!!! I'm 70 you guys remind of the late 60's !!Keep it up guys we enjoy y'all in South Texas !
And they are from north west of Canada
I truly hope that The Dead South achieves the success that they so rightfully deserve.
With that being said, I also hope that they stays true to themselves and their music,
for they are a one of a kind.
Don't let petty differences or egos drive a wedge between anyone.
You need to be stronger than your egos or emotions.
Have you heard their "baby wants a diamond song" yet? It's awesome.
I hope they can stay true and keep the band drama to a minimum. I absolutely love their unique sound, weird style and these guys are extremely talented musicians! Takes a lot to take my breath away.
@@stevepatrickjarvis I haven’t but I’m checking it out now! Ty
Hopefully they come to oz
They’re touring here in January ‘23
@@crcole7585 thanks i will google it
Awesome!! Looks like I'll be in Melb in January.
Guys - you're great! I have been listening to you for several years and I can never get enough.
Thanks!
Greetings from Warsaw (from Poland)!
We flew out just for this - and we would do it again 100 times over. Red Rocks was pure magic this day.
That amphitheater is just awesome.
Red rocks? Where ever, i'll be there. M.
So lucky!
Love Red Rocks
Fantastically unique sound and oh so entertaining. I am always having images of dusty prairies and deserts, cowboys and gunslingers on horse back, and good ole fashioned Spaghetti Westerns (think Maestro Ennio Morricone) running thru my mind when listening to their music- Good Stuff!!
Yeah, these guys got stuck between my ears. I'll think of your comment every time I hear Dead South.
I was born in 1970, was raised by my parents on the blues, and already at the age of 13 I was well versed in all this. Blues in life with me! Super collection Thank you very much
Ha! Simply incredible! Thank god for bands and music like these guys bring. Just makes me smile brighter!
I'll never forget the day i heard these guys at an outdoors festival. They stole the show. Been a massive fan ever since
An awesome sound. Love the raspy voices. Each one could do well on their own but together they are awesome.
I found this Great Band on TH-cam in 2018, and saw them in concert in 19. I really don’t know any new country songs on the radio because all I listen to is The Dead South. Y’all keep bringing us more great foot stompin’ music.
I just love you guys!! I've watched this so many times. I can't get enough of The Dead South ♥️♥️♥️
Luv luv them, would like to hear them play ain’t no sunshine. Luv their style and the different instruments they play. The whole ambiance is exciting
Oh... I’m so sorry. My sincere condolences. Stevie was taken from us too soon, too. I’m glad you have nice memories to comfort you. 💜
After all these years, I'm sure she is still dancing, with that smile.
What a tragedy. Glad you have the memory to hold on to.....
oh such a tragedy, hope you're doing well
Take heart brother, the short time your apart from your wife is only a drop in the bucket compared to the eternity you’ll spend together. Best wishes.
Man, I am digging this band so much! Every song is a fucking jewel! They sound just spectacular live as well as in studio! Thumbs up.
Can I have an private audience great band. Keep. Up. The. Fantastic music. Ottawa. That. Please. To. Come. 2. TN USA.
I never had watched a whole concert this big before in the internet. But this one, got my attention. Great talent. Congratulations guys!
Check out their one at the house of blues in Boston, its even better
@@robertarnott3210 Thanks
My fiancé proposed to me with “Honey You” playing in the background, sense then The Dead South has held such a special place in my heart... can’t wait for y’all to come back to Dallas!!
Honey You is one of my favourite songs and I've always imagined a proposal like this :) Unfortunately, this will never happen, cause my boyfriend is not a fan of TDS and bluegrass as well (at least, I got tickets to a concert, so no complains here :D).. So I'm just sitting here for a few minutes with a smile on my face, being a little jealous and wishing you love and luck!
Vous avez de la Chance !.… Mon esprit vous accompagne à Tout les deux .
After watching this video I decided to watch them live. Black deer festival 2022 UK. So glad I went! Amazing 💕
Greetings from Romania.
You, guys, are awesome. The sound, the voice, the band, everything is great. Glad to hear you.
Keep it up !
Nunca habia escuchado nada de bluegrass y de verdad que este grupo me ha enganchado. Hasta para ir a correr los pongo.. Me dan alegria y buen rollo.. Gracias.
There is nothing I can say that would do justice. Thanks for your music guys!
The best Band in the moment, i love Death South. Best wisces from Austria
So happy for y'all and the feature on Umbrella Academy!
My mouth about dropped to the floor when I heard it! Nobody deserves it more tho
I was very pleasantly surprised!
My jaw dropped that was sick and a perfect moment for it to lol
I got so excited at that moment! Shouting "Dead South! Dead South!" at the TV! Partner was very confused!
Same here! I was so happy and excited
Same!
I swear Crawdaddy is the only man on the planet that can play 2 hours of banjo music for me and leave me screaming for more! You guys are awesome!
Saw them live in Sacramento in December 2019, and it was literally the best live performance that I've ever been too, I will never miss them if they're in any driving distance!
This is the first time I've heard your music I have to say I'm really enjoying it thank you y'all crazy country folk 😂😂
WOWOWWO, IS ALL I CAN SAY, THIS IS MY FIRST TIME HEARING ABOUT THIS GROUP, I TYPED IN GRASSROOTS MUSIC AND THE DEAD SOUTH CAME UP WITH GOOD COMPANY AND WOW, I LOVE THIS GROUP, I TOLD MY BROTHER ABOUT THEM HOPE HE LIKES THEM TOO
Absolutely love your music. You guys always look like you are thoroughly enjoying yourselves every time I see you play.
probably my favorite part of watching them!
Fastest 45 minutes of my life!! They crushed it. Red Rock will never recover!!
Best damn sound...I should know. Spent years in the biz. There is an old Opry house in Longmont , Co. Give it a think.
I want nothing more than to be camping with 100 of my best friends... and these guys show up.... at the camp fire... and for hours into the night.... we jam. NOTHING MORE IN LIFE would bring me joy. :D
This music gives peace to my soul. Never stop!
God, I miss concerts!! I live in Denver and CANNOT WAIT for Red Rocks to reopen!!!
The first time I listened one of their songs I fell in love with their work as soon as I listened the very first notes. They're amazing
Wow - these guys are amazingly talented ...love the stories they tell through their music & lyrics ...
These guys have a great feeling for nice music. It´s beautiful performance at Red Rocks.
My life is MADE...they're coming to FL in May - got my ticket. Met them in Tempe, AZ a couple years back...sold out a dive bar there in town, crammed people in, so sweaty and amazing...I stood in front of the stage and hung out after the show w/them. OMFG...nicest guys ever - and Eliza, yes, she's part of them also. Scalpers were trying to get $400 a ticket, but NO ONE would give up their $18 tickets...LOL. SO GLAD I WENT. TH-cam may be their only avenue of advertising in the states thus far (Canadian Bluegrass?? ROFLMAO), but man...EVERY PERSON IN THE BAR knew ALL the words. It was amazing. LOVE THESE GUYS SO EFFING MUCH. Unreal talent. XOXOXOXO I am TOTALLY seeing THESE dogs again...and again...and again.
I can imagine the Red Rocks is a great place to watch a night time gig, it looks amazing in daylight.
Its amazing, I've only ever seen it sunset/night time, it looks so much bigger at night.. when you're drunk.
Oh yeah, night rocks!
One of the best venues in the world
Waylon jennings did a great night show at Red Rocks, it's the best venue imo.
Saw Rascal Flatts there a few years ago, it’s fantastic. Such a different concert experience than what you would get normal at a normal venue.
This was awesome and special to watch. Thank you for uploading it for the fans who couldn’t be there in person.
Tell the Truth I have found this group THE Dead South yesterday now I am hook on their music remind me in mine younger years listening to Eagles Hank Williams Sr,Jr,and Third now I got to see them live now
