My favourite thing about Gangle is every time her mask breaks, the noise she makes is somehow always higher pitched than I'm prepared for.
Like, no matter how many times I watch these episodes, somehow that noise she makes is always like 2-3 tones higher than I'm expecting.
Hello Vixen, gg in voicing Gangle for episode 1 and 2. I watched it too and it was good and I knew u would react to it! Can’t wait to see the episode 3 performance.
Ok honestly getting rid of Gummigoo at the end was actually a good thing cuz it made the whole character growth for Pomni more natural during the funeral scene. Gummigoo being there at the funeral would’ve made everything a bit awkward for writing
It also adds to Pomni’s distrust/fear of Caine’s methods. Like she might see that Caine is trying to make these adventures and solve these problems that are out of their control for the humans’ benefits, but considering the solution is to either sweep the problem under a rug never to be seen again or to make it disappear entirely without any middle ground, she has good reason to be wary of Caine.
Also, Gummigoo being kept around, Pomni might not have even attended the funeral, instead choosing to hang out with Gummigoo and help him get settled in. While that’s certainly a friendship, i’m the end it wouldn’t be as meaningful as having those human connections and realizing that these other people she’s staying with are human too and probably feel the same way she does at times…except for ajax because in her eyes all he’s done is abandon and abuse her. Can’t trust him (yet).
I think it was an important event for Pomni to become more aware of her surroundings and to see the key difference between an NPC and a real person.
Without it she probably would have become too attached to Gummigoo and would have distanced herself from others (some theories say thats what Kaufmo did) which would have made her Extraction all the more likely if Gummigoo would have perished
Definitely not the last we have seen from him tho, but I doubt he will actually become a part of the "group"

Honestly I think Gangle and Kinger are my favorite characters so far. Pom I is great as well, but she kinda all over the place for me. She seems so dead inside, yet still kind and sweet. This episode shook me on who or what her personality is. I honestly don’t know for sure. I like Kinger though. Simplicity insanity at its finest. His heart is in the right place, but he’s useless af. 😂😂😂

It's so surreal to me how voice actors don't meet each other immediately, and also some don't see their works. Crazy.
This episode came out a couple of days after my grandpa passed, and I've gotta say I wasn't prepared for the ending. I definitely shed a tear at that 'cause... Well, it was a bit too real for me...
