Love your collection - know you said you’re not happy with how the lounge is looking but I think it looks fab. The opening shot of you stood in your lounge with all the plants behind you 😍.
OMG - that fern was dyed! I'd never have guessed. I spotted a "mixed" pot in a garden centre last week, and I only now realise watching your vid that it was just new growth alongside the dyed fronds in those pots! Anyways, it's a beautiful fern, and the one I have has grown very big and lush. It is very thirsty, so I let it sit in a bucket of water for half an hour once a week to fully saturate the substrate.
It's the only logical explanation I can find. Mad really, I would have bought the green one anyway so no harm done. Yes it's definitely a thirsty plant!
Thank you so much for the video! May I ask a question? Do you ‘winter’ your caladium? I just got one and want to know what’s best for care, and this seems to be the suggestion
Thanks for watching 💚 I leave them until they die off, they normally get through Autumn and then die off around Nov/Dec. I then take the bulbs out of the soil and store them away in a paper bag with some perlite to absorb moisture. You can also leave them in the soil and store the pot away I just don't really have anywhere to store the pots so I prefer to remove the bulbs and then plant them up again in Spring 🌱

@@ThecobaltblueSchismatoglottis Wallichi - I can never pronounce it correctly 😂 It's super thirsty and has only been happy since I moved it to semi-hydro.
I would love to hear more about you being a house plant technician and what that is like, entails, and how you came about it!
Absolutely, I will do a video on this 💚
Like the caladiums you've mixed in.
Thank you, I potted them up a bit late this year so I wasn't sure how they would do but they seem to be doing well enough 😊
I enjoyed your tour & I never normally watch plant tours. Xx
Thank you 😊💚
Love your place! I follow you on TT so would be nice to learn more about your every day plant care from these longer videos 👍🏻
Thank you 💚 I've been meaning to make a video about what I do in an average week in terms of plant care so I will get to making this video asap 👍
Your plants are beautiful 🤩!
Thank you! 😊

Aw thank you 💚 I think sometimes I get too much in my own head wanting everything to look perfect, but that's not reality 🥴.
