From my experience, learning chemistry in school only takes the fun & thrills out of it, and makes you not want to do it again! But by watching Dr. Stone, you can get excited for real and never be board with it!
To make it simple, unless the education system of our modern society can ever be as exciting as a couple of seasons of Dr. Stone, I doubt people these days would be really in to science!
Well I don't know about you, but what do you think?
In Dr. Stone you just watch the results of Senku doing the math. What you learn in chemistry class is closer to what he's actually doing. Chemistry is mostly math.
@@nitemare4531 .... you started to made me regret taking chemical engineering course in college
I wonder if Dr. Stone is going to be to STEM fields what Haikyuu is to men’s volleyball? Apparently Haikyuu got a very large amount of people into volleyball (at least in Japan) when it wasn’t doing as well before. Maybe Dr. Stone will inspire more young people to pursue careers in science.
Was that “get excited” put in there on purpose I suppose
A wise man once told me "I learned more things in anime than in school"
I think the creator of the show wanted to make learning chemistry/physics (one of the most grueling subjects for most) fun. The same was Stephen Hillenberg wanted to make Spongebob a fun way for kids to learn about sea life.
I highly doubt the spongebob thought process
@@hayyanyousufkhan6032 he had a comic before the show and a love for marine biology. Nickelodeon approached him with a contract and he was ecstatic to take his little creation mainstream. After 3 seasons he felt the show had served its purpose but Nick didn’t want to lose one of their best shows so it slowly regressed into what it is today.
@@DylanCEdh sad
Spongebob doesn't teach shit about sea life lol
@@Mikelaxo it does not teach kids a thing I won’t deny that but if you go back and watch it you could catch a few things. First that comes to mind is sea sponges reproduce by budding. There’s more, but 1) it’s been years since I’ve watched it and 2) I honestly don’t wanna go back skimming through episodes to make a point.
A little thing outside of it that I thought was kind of cool was when the creator was asked about his sexual orientation (tbh, I don’t even know why people were asking that about a cartoon, I find it very stupid someone asked this. But the response I like), he said he’s asexual which fits perfectly cause sponges are indeed asexual. Also it’s a kids show and I don’t want to know the details of my favorite childhood characters love life.

@@marksgames3664 first off the Japanese dub isn't any better than the english dub, you just think it is because you don't as easily recognize bad voice acting in a language you don't understand. Second you misunderstood my comment where I said the dub doesn't change as much as people think it does because I was saying it didn't matter which version you watched, and yet you have the idea in your stupidity to call me a dumbass. Third maybe you should accept that people have different opinions than you do, your opinions are not fact, people are going to like things you don't. How about you accept that fact about people and move on with your life and not waste time by thinking you can change people's opinions by insulting them.
