Heya! Thanks for the awesome video, as usual ofcourse. Quick question: is auto quick boost viable for learning these drifts? Or is it absoluely necessary to practice manual instant boosts? I still miss time my instant boosts.....

in the current meta it's not that strong so it's better to nitro more. in fact i think you should turn it off so you can instant boost less. Instant boost boost is used more often when you have no nitro like at the start of a race. It's good to learn the manual timing in the long run, however, because they may tweak the physics so it's more viable.

Factoid with a fact here: Did you know before Kartrider Rush and Kartrider Drift karting of this style was a mini game in Maplestory 2 before it got shut down by nexon?

Hi i have Problems with the time Attack 1. In L2 license what i can do im almost at the Finish Line but then im failing 😢

license mode forces you to use a common kart where drifting is hard to use efficiently.
it's more important to drive an efficient line than drifting/boosting nonstop.
in the "easiest" way i'm close to the wall most of the time and on turns i approach from the outside then drive into the corner.
when you do drift you should preturn like how I explained in the video and tap drift lightly. You can see how I do it in the mobile video on the first turn.
on the final straight, save your last nitro for right when you land in the water

Hi, I can't seem to fill the Nitro gauge up to 100% using short+full. Only goes up to around 80-90%. Do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong?
tension affects all drifts, including the the short drift in short-full. try to build around 15% bar with short, similar to 2:36. use the countersteer input to prevent slipping into a full drift
@@donutkr3819 Thanks, I'll try this! But my full drift also seems to give less gauge than the videos I see. Do you know what factors could be affecting the full drift gauge gain after my short?
@last218 hold the drift button a little longer. Also make sure you're going fast
So more tension(pre-turning basically) equals faster nitro gain? Or is it a harder angle? I dont need to know about all the other stuff, I simply want to know what the car does to gain the most nitro. That is it.
high speed, more tension, holding drift longer. tension is the least obvious variable
@donutKR Okay so by holding the drift longer, you mean drifting but not holding the drift button down? Because that stops the nitro from collecting.
@@ImLyran i meant holding the drift BUTTON longer, not being in a drift longer. sry seems like i wasn't clear
@donutKR I mean it makes sense logically, however from my own testng holding the drift button longer only stops the collection of nitro for me. Somewhere around the half way point.
@@ImLyran holding the drift button down too long will make you slow down too much. the drift entry is where the rate nitro increases is fastest. maintaining the drift will get more nitro but the charge rate gradually decreases the longer your drift goes
Would that be a double drift to gain the boost?

At 5:50 how are you able to maintain such a long drift while being able to use your boosts?
i use a technique called cut charging to chain together longer drifts. thats the name given by KR Rush+

I spent over an hour in time trials trying to get it down but Its just too hard. Its so depressing, lol.
Its sad because I've been a huge fan of KR since 2008 when It was first officially playable in the US and I've never had success at anything beyond the beginner skill level. 😵
I'd say to just keep at it. Kartriders one of those games where I find it's best not to stress over where your at right now and just naturally improve as you play since it's a tough game to learn. It's important to remember the top level of players has been with this series for a long time, thus they've had more time to build consistency.
