The premise at 0:13 might sound confusing. In other words, you THROW the kart into drifts, like you would a baseball for example. The direction you throw the kart is determined by the drift button. How far you throw the kart depends on how fast you go.
Would love to see advance drift technique video, and some time trial records. Still don't get how to do it right in this game, not even close mechanic to KRR+
Great video! thanks! Question -- Sometimes in the video when you do a boosted full drift, you get a full other boost -- but towards the end you note how doing a short-full will get you a full boost. I never seem to get a full boost on simply a boosted full drift alone. I'm dying to know your thoughts! Also what's the general best strat for straight aways? I feel whatever drift shenanigan I pull off just makes me go slower
short-full is better for gaining nitro compared to full drift by itself. i explain why in my latest tutorial. on straights you wanna perform snake drift combinations with cut drift and swift cut like at 2:48 . try to do that during the duration of 1 nitro
the full drifts at 1:29 fill to about 98-99% bar. short-full will consistently fill 100% in those scenarios. i get a full bar with 1 drift at 2:04 because i have additional speed driving downhill
@@dadtier564 Overall it's more difficult to build nitro due to nerfs to speed and nitro gain in CBT3. You need to be going fast with nitro. In the video I'm consistently starting the drifts at above 210. You also want the short drift to angle your kart into the turn. This is easier to notice in U-turn example.
I'm so disappointed with this game and the drifting mechanics, prior titles really did it better imo. I played rush plus for like 2 years before this came out and it's really weird playing this, moreover at least at present the karts don't seem to have different stats.
rush+ have different mechanics than kartrider drift, drift have the exactly same mechanics like vanilla kartrider. and same no p2w system like the vanilla
For beginners, it is said that the speed was lowered during this preseason. It may be slow for those who enjoyed the existing Kartrider ip, but please understand.
@@choimoonrak yea I'm still waiting to see what they are planning to do but in all honesty I don't think they did a good job announcing the game. I thought that the game launched already, I only knew about a "preseason" because of this channel. I thought that was the whole point of a beta?
@@otakukj As a cheerer of this game, I think this is an early access right now. It's a problem that I haven't officially launched it yet even though I've gone through beta 3 times, but I think it's tolerable for the completeness of the game

Whatever button you use to accelerate (Right trigger i think), release it then press it again after a full drift.
