Your ability to navigate the lineup, turn last minute and catch waves is so impressive! I am currently struggling with top turns/cutbacks, often outrunning the wave - the POV is really helpful to see when/where you look and turn to stay in the pocket! Thank you! 🙏
I was thinking that myself, Kale does a nice job of staying in the pocket and you can learn a lot on how to navigate a line-up with his POVs. Off to Taghazout in March and hoping we can score some of the same. Circling back to line-ups, I've noticed the following since I've progressed to being a mid-level intermediate, and this is majorly applicable in Bali, that a lot of people over-estimate their ability and are in a line-up that is way above their level. So you can actually score a lot of waves in a crowded line-up by simply watching surfers abilities and working out if their are actually capable of catching a wave. Many waves go unridden in Bali because the wave is not being read correctly. Many follow the crowds and position themselves where they won't be able to catch the wave and it goes unridden. Luckily I'm down the line where the height might diminish or if smaller where a second peak forms and hey presto the dream comes alive!
I'm 56 years old and I can't surf like this anymore so it is so awesome to see the POV. I miss the Speed most of all. Great session, thanks for posting this 👍
I am currently learning the roller, I live in Tahiti where there is a lot of spots where you could go, For example Teahupoo, Taapunaa, or spots that are not that famous but also great
As below i also learnt from watching your vids Thanks very much if you ever cone to brittany ive a mobile home in the garden ...its yours you dont know how your video's inspire people even the older ones 🤣🤣🤣just a bit older
@@KalesBroccoli yes I saw it already , it’s a sick camera but I was asking if this video was shot with it ! Btw the next time your in France come to Anglet bro ;)
@@WhiteNacho- I suppose it all depends on how well you can imagine things. I have a pretty decent imagination so I'm lucky in that I can find myself 'almost' there. I know the feeling - I surfed a lot in the 90's in various locations across the world, so that's easily applied. What I'm saying is that POV will give you more of THAT feeling than drones (don't get me wrong - drones give you a much better image, but it's not as close to the experience itself - it's a 'viwers' perspective). I don't smoke.

Glad you enjoyed it!
absolutely love the raw pov
I like these pov cause you can see all the lessons that you taught being applied. It reallys helps somebody like me.
Great seeing POV of how the paddle out is.
Amazing session and few surfers in the line up, Anza is usually crowded. Thank you for the video, I had fun watching it
Glad you enjoyed 👏🏽

Are you planning on visiting Morocco this winter? Looks like the conditions will be pretty good this week!
👍🏽
I need a wave like this to progress right now....
We all do!
Whats the name of the spot, because I often surf in morroco but i don't recognise it.
Yooooo hows itttt... combo town on couple of those... you there now?
0:49 avoiding the initial duck dive into cold water lol 😂
Lol
Which point break is this?
so fun! gz!
how do these surfers hold there gopro ? , with a mouth piece or something ?
I know the camera can look different, how big were these waves in real life?
Prob like 3-4 idk
Head high and a half
Nice work🤙
this size wave is my happy place(!), much smaller and it's boring, once it's at double overhead i guess depending on how heavy it gets sketchy for me
This was actually close to double over head
Morocco still worth visiting in late march? Or is the swell not that good anymore?
I think still good!
Sharp board, sharp surf !
Wish you a land angle to give the scale of the waves, clearly overhead and well surfed though!
I Will share some footage eventually. Quite the backlog at the moment 😅
Nice video as usual!
Kale, which Gopro do you use to get these videos?
See my recent review it’s a DJI osmo!
@@KalesBroccoli nice
Hey is it the DJI ACTION 4 ? Looks like so many drops on the lens …
Check out my review recently :)

@kalebrock which spot was this one?
I dont name spots sorry :)
IS that morroco or Honolulu ❤
you are getting way more waves in a session than i am for weeks lol
When the waves are good you have to feast!
Hey, I flight there tommorow, see you in the water!
Bonne chance!
Hello! What is your board? Schooner? ;)
Yeah see my board update video from earlier in the year :)
@@KalesBroccoli I hope to have my Schooner 5'11 in April 2024! what do you think of this board?
Hey, are you riding how just future fins? :)
*now
Yeah check out my video recently!!
what board is this? I see this js.but board?
Yeah see my quiver update video 2023 :)
would you be open to a totally raw pov? Aboslutely no cuts in the video, even the waiting for a wave? means you don't have to put any work. thanks
Has to be in a certain session with lotsa waves otherwise boring
looks so uncrowded?!? This can't be Morocco 🤣
Yeah certainly has changed since last year!
Wow how good are these rights 🤙🏽
Looks like Anza
Crocodiles beach?
which town in morocco ?
hey ! which beach is that ?
Morocco :)
Morocco 🙄 someone is asking a question. At least answer it
Crocodiles mate
🤙🏽
How should I put the surfers roadmap sticker on my surfboard?
www.kalebrock.com.au/store/surf here we go!
Thanks Kale!
nice, just you, a few other guys and the sharks...
No sharks there
Anza??
Surfed there last Jan can’t wait to go back!
where is that? like where in Morocco?
Around Tagazout
Just tell for god's sake. It makes no difference to you or the break
theres plenty of good surf spots there so it doesn't matter, you'll eventually find that one
Think you just put Morocco on the Map!
Trolling for sharks?
No way you’re riding anza! Looks glassy for once 😂 enjoy
Yeww
spongbob live in bikini botem
Raw????lol!
POV shots are the worst in surf photography. Drones are the best.
So don’t watch ✌🏾
@@KalesBroccoli I didn't !
I was experiencing the feeling of dropping down the wave a little there - Therefore, IMO POV entirely has its place - Thanks, enjoyable to watch.
