Hey Kale! I just finished your Beginner Surfer's Roadmap course & about to start the Intermediate course! It's been so helpful for reviewing and relearning the fundamentals of my surf technique. Especially loved the practical exercises like the new pop-up techniques, strength and stretching exercises to practice at home. I've started incorporating them in my weekly exercise routine. Also just started using BOTH my arms to pump instead of just using my back arm which helped propel me down the line so fast and do small cutbacks during my surf yesterday. Super excited to jump into the intermediate course, just wanted to say thanks! 🥳🎉 If anyone is thinking about doing one of his Surfer's Roadmap courses, highly recommend!! 10/10!! cheers!
Warmish but not tropical 🌴….during summer you’d only need 2/3 shortie but boots are imperative as there are plenty of urchins. The Canaries are only 80 miles off the coast you should go and visit ! You won’t be disappointed 🤙💪🙏
Great work Kale, been watching you for a long while and seen you surfing around Whale Beach over the years. Your surfing has significantly improved, your body positioning is relaxed and technically excellent. Your editing and story telling is also on point. Awesome to see your growth and chasing your passion.
Marocco is a special place! quite unique in swell, surf. really liked ur video!! i remember a few ago a few epic sessions with friends at boiler, dracula and anchor point, engraved in our memories for ever.
I've only been to Morocco once. But I will remember the place forever. A wonderful place, and I got to experience some of the longest waves in my life, with good friends. Can't beat that feeling!
About that wave of your life. You made it bro. You nailed it, that’s the beautiful thing about surfing, it’s hardly ever what we want, and that’s a good thing, because it keeps us searching. They don’t call it catching, they call it fishing. Stay cool brother.
I'm surprised you think a bigger board would have helped Kale. Take off on point, got a little stuck on the way down but not board length, just misjudged that rib (long period 6ft), then had too much speed that you battled to scrub off. Check turn and stand tall
OMG that wave at 15 mins or thereabout!!! What a drop you took into the pocket mate, looks epic. Stoked for you to get that one, and you just don't really see waves like this empty very otfen, so i'm not surprised you were buzzing, and frustrated at the same time. A bittersweet symphony from mother nature eh!!
@@KalesBroccoli I know how you feel mate. Days when the skiing is amazing and it has to stop. The most epic week of powder i ever got was immediately before lockdown hit in 2020 in France. And it kept on being amazing for powder for another week after they switched the lifts off and banned us from hiking up to ski down was the same kind of pain i'd say. It was super perfect weather and snow for weeks after they locked it all down, looked beautiful, but so sad at the same time cause nobody was allowed to ride it, and the way winters are going it will be a thing of the past maybe even in my lifetime 😢😢😢
Just back from Morocco, what an amazing place. We feel in love with this place and the whole laid back vibe that everyone had.Keep up the great work with your videos they really help so much .🤙
Amazing edit. That last barrel 😮. I surfed the same spot yesterday. At 1/4 the size it still has a crazy current running down the point. I have no idea how you even made it to the peak.
Looked like an epic session. I think you handled being under gunned like a champ especially with that late drop into the barrel. Great video mate congrats 🤙
You should do a movie about Imsouane, showing the world how the autorities threat the local people. Houses and shops have been destroyed within 24 hours, leaving hundreds of locals in dispair.
@@KalesBroccoli No blame at all in my comment.... it's just that lots of People are watching your channel. It's good to show sometimes the downside of what we consider a "paradise" for foreigner surfers. It isn't the case for lots of locals. Anyway, great vidéo. You certainly scored desert point. Never seen it like that.
The current there is a killer! You can end up wide just paddeling forever watching all these crazy ones go past but you just can't get in the take off zone becuase that current pulls you down.
Rockies mistake with the board size You see this time and time again people not riding the appropriate boards for the appropriate conditions and someone with your experience well no wonder you lost sleep over it Sick wives but I went to Morocco in 1986 was no one on anchor point couple of French guys

alan watts and the ocean go well together
Yes it does I randomly did this on an Indo edit of a friend about 10 years ago I forget which part put OMG it went together so good
Agree 🙏🏽
Stirling Spencer also used it in one of his surf films
Wrecked that one, Dude. All slow-mo, all chopped up, no music, NEXT!
I keep watching this from 12min on. The footage is class, it’s what dreams are made of.
Morocco looks epic 🙌🏽 what is the water temp?

Alan Watts, Anchor point and you shredding.... A combo for perfection ❤

I loved listened to Alan Watts whilst watching this. Thankyou 🙏❤️
Glad you enjoyed it 😊😊
Ha, Alan Watts the surfer! May well see you in the water around the Tiznit area next week. Funny old world.
take off 15:15 is insane.
Wow Kale, this is an amazing edit. Beautifully captured.
Thank you so much!
Very very nice video Kale. Thank you
Thank you too!
Wow 😮🌊🙌🏻
Beautiful scene🤙crispy and clean 👌
That rip when it's big at anchor point Is something else!

With that said, your surfing has leveled up a few notches of late 🙌🪽
Would it be possible to get a more raw full-speed edit of the bomb waves?
As in slower or faster? We might make a highlights of Morocco edit after we release our little three part series
@@KalesBroccoliI think he means normal speed. You don't really get a sense of just how fast they were breaking when the footage is slowed down.
Omg that wave…is…Beautiful ! This is one your best videos!
Thank you so much!!
1:06 this is just art, movements like john john florence.
Ha ha not quite but thank you!
😉👍🏾
FIIIIRRRREEE!!!!
You are welcome back to Agadir/taghazout when ever you want.

I surfed Morocco about 10 years ago. great waves. I was blown away at how good it gets. as I had no idea
All the way from Morocco to Cape Town there are incredible waves 🌊 (the west coast of Africa)
Crazy man, good vid love the music too
Very powerful first 6 minutes ! Thanks.
Glad you liked it thank you :)
Sick video, that tube was amazing
Exquisite surfing and flow 😮
That opening is outstanding 😢
Thank you 🙏🏽❤️

Bittersweet natural symphony 🥲

Love❤ Morocco, made some good friends there❤, great film mate
Thank you 🙌
Hi @Kale ! When did this swell occur ? Was there in November and December but kinda missed it :( :(
November!
Looked like an epic session. I think you handled being under gunned like a champ especially with that late drop into the barrel. Great video mate congrats 🤙
😅 thank you!!
What size should you have on a size like that 6.2 - 6.4 range?@@KalesBroccoli
Bittersweet sunset session in some ways. But in most ways it was a sweet sunset session. You’ll have to come back again and stay longer!
Frothing on Australia this year!
You should do a movie about Imsouane, showing the world how the autorities threat the local people. Houses and shops have been destroyed within 24 hours, leaving hundreds of locals in dispair.
Im not aware sorry

When you don’t have paper showing that you owned the land nothing is protecting you It’s sad.
Bro, these people know that one day they will have to leave that place, they have no legal documents of owning that land. it s state land.
what board you riding?
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Intense
19:41 mins of absolute pleasure
wow I smiled as much as you
f.... awesome film dude
Thank you!
Omg man that’s crazy
was a gem. very difficult with all that water moving.agree the length woulda helped!
Thank you.
Thank you!
That spot is called boilers, isnt it?
saludos de BOni
That last wave
It is actually very similar to kirra on a good day 🤙😎
your'e charging mate. Not many people get to live out their dreams. Your life has been an achievement in itself.
🙏🏽
The current there is a killer! You can end up wide just paddeling forever watching all these crazy ones go past but you just can't get in the take off zone becuase that current pulls you down.
When was it ?
Late 2023
I went down to anchor ⚓️ point in 1988 i was only 20 😊
❤️😮💨
12:12
Would have been epic on a JetSki
Wait a minute, is Kale going to found his own religion?
Yes it’s called BottomTurnianity
Such a lack of knowledge going out there with such a short board
!!!
Stop making the spots more crowded please 😢
Didn’t name a single one
Ripping
🙏🏽
Need slower slo-mo.
120fps is detailed that’s for sure haha
Rockies mistake with the board size You see this time and time again people not riding the appropriate boards for the appropriate conditions and someone with your experience well no wonder you lost sleep over it Sick wives but I went to Morocco in 1986 was no one on anchor point couple of French guys
Honestly your board looks too small and light for those waves. Your bouncing all over the walls
Anchor and other famous spots aren't welcoming anymore...
So sick!
Thank you!!
