We need more kind people like this. Thank you sharing.
What do you mean with kind?
They were his family and guests, not random strangers.
Como no se amable con su familia, que tiene de extraño?
Guards are real people with families 😊
@helencooke8079, true but so many people get bent out of shape unnecessarily when they see them interacting with the public
Amazes me how so many people can watch this and not even think that it is own daughter At the start you can see the lady he is with on her phone obviously trying to find someone in the crowds.
@@charlottecunningham2141 indeed they do. It's a bit intrusive, especially with family interaction, but one of the drawbacks, I guess. They're so proud of their loved one 🥰
The king actually spawns them in every morning.
Also real serving Officers too buddy👍🏻
Every little girl needs a hero in her life--even if it is only for five minutes! THANK YOU for making a little girl’s day and ours as well!
It’s her father, I hope he’ll be there for many years to come.
No era cualquier gente es su familia😂😂
My husband was in the Scots guards, I always felt proud to see him in his tunic uniform and on different ceremonies, plus how the little kiddies would look up to them...
My late father was a Grenadier guard. He took part in Trooping the Colour and all these years later, I still feel pride.
That little girl will remember that day forever ❤️
Yes remembering the time she watched her father at Trooping the colour wonderful memories for her .
@@Maggie_1957 что же означает такая шапка на голове , кажется это так не удобно ? Я не осуждаю
@@user-jn6ue8pz9k from what i have read they are worn over the eyes so that the soldier has to maintain an upright posture in order to be able to see however wikipedia dosn't give an explaination as to why they are so big
That was one Tall, Very Smart and Immaculately Dressed King's Guard with Aura.
Well said... exactly 💯..tall elegant well bred Kings Guard 💂♀️ 🫡🫶👐🤝🙏
Fine set of ribbons on him, he’s seen some stuff over the years
A bit of chest candy. Fought in a couple of conflicts.
I"ve seen so many TH-cam videos recently of people being rude to the guards and their horses. Disgusting some of it, honestly!
It is so nice to see this heartwarming video to more than balance the rudeness and ill-bred beaviour.
And the authorities are doing nothing.
After the trooping, we generally get invited back to Buckingham Palace for a Garden Party with our families. It gives us a chance to catch up with old friends and have a natter with members of the Royal Family if you are lucky. As a Veteran, I still get the invites when it is The Blues & Royals turn.
That was very nice thanks for sharing it 🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴
Yes! Many thanks for this.
Bless her heart. She was so happy. and the guard gave her something she will always remember. That was a kind and thoughtful guard.❤
or just a dad
It’s her dad. She said Daddy
Family. 🎉🎉🎉
The adorable little cute girl came to hugging and snuggling the Foot Guard officer. What a heartwarming moment
🥰💂
Her father maybe?
@@Maggie_1957 Probably. I didn't hear the Little girl saying "Papa"
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 I didnt hear her say it either i just assumed as the way he held his hand out to her and she held his and then i heard him ask the security to let his guests with blue passes to come through .
@@Maggie_1957I think he's her father. The English are too cold and unfriendly to strangers
@@kartosenlitminey Not all of us
Very sweet ❤❤❤❤
Very lovely. I couldn't help notice how well dressed the people where.
We've got class that's why we all dress smartly.🇬🇧
@@rosieposie6521 most definitely
WO1 ( RSM ), to his soldiers GOD, to his daughter…. ‘Daddy’.
Love my country and our armed forces.. Have war heroes in my family that have died for us all dont let it be in vain ❤
❤A true human being💂💂♂️💂♀️thanks for your service💙💚💛
Firstly he is the Garrison Sergeant Major of Grenadier Guards taking people through with BLUE passes to Trooping. I doubt if anyone is related to him there but just like the GSM of Coldstream Guards Andrew Vern Stokes, they are just nice guys.
So lovely ❤❤❤
Welsh guard at his best proving he’s human like the rest of us ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He's a grenadier guard, mate ,buttons on his tunic all in a row, no gaps and grenade fired proper on his collar
@@JoeRichardson-vk6xw oh why’s he wearing a green and white feathers on his bear skin then. I thought that was the Welsh guards that William is Colonel of?
Perhaps i need stronger glasses I could have sworn he had green and white feathers like the Welsh leek
@@theresaryan2280look again, white feather not green.
@@maybarnard1088 I did that’s why I said I think I need stronger glasses.
He's also got the royal cypher on his applets, which is unique to the grenadier guards.
You have to listen carefully but she did call him daddy. Still a beautiful moment tho, and yes! Guardsmen and all British soldiers are people. Hard working and deserved of a normal family life full of love. Good luck and best wishes to all our service Men and Women.
Excellent BTS. Trooping the Colour must be so incredibly exciting for the families.
That guard just made that little girls day special something to remember forever and the smile she gives him says it all
Maybe It's her father. The English are unfriendly and they don't treat strangers that way
It's her father. She called him daddy, and then he smiled.
Do you really believe he just went over and held a random kid's hand to get them through security?
❤❤
What a precious moment in that young girls life to be able to share her father, who serves someone higher than himself HM The King, with others.❤
I used to be a "lollipop lady" (crosswalk attendant) when my children were at school and my uniform never looked that good😂😂😂
Total respect to you sir. Thank you for your service!
How I miss this place
God bless you all
I’m curious. . . Can’t see his eyes at all! Is it a trick, or talent? His ability to see? Definitely, however, I know what adds to their charisma they radiate courtesy, dignity, integrity, kindness and respect! 💂♀️💂♀️🇬🇧💂♀️💂♀️
I met WO2 L. (I'm not sharing his name) last year when I was walking through St. James's park. Absolutely incredible person. He even let me grab a photo 😊
The little girl will never forget it.
Keep Britain flr British. People are the most important thing in the end.
Shiniest shoes on Planet Earth!!!
C'est attendrissant cette gentillesse et cette simplicité chez ce haut personnage. ❤🥰😉👍👏🤗
I'm actually surprised that these guards can see where they're walking with those furry hats on 👍👍👍
I think he is her Dad ? She was so comfortable taking his hand !
Yes and this behaviour is not common in Britain
@@kartosenlitmineyReally? Explain that. Are you British?
@@paulhollis8879 Well, I'm from Ireland, but I said that the English are unfriendlier
@@kartosenlitminey I don’t think you have a handle at all on how soldiers deal with their kids.
@@paulhollis8879 I said that she is his daughter, because if she wasn't, he wouldn't behave like that
how sweet xx
Magnifique !👍
❤. Guard. ❤
Much respect for the kingsguard they're awesome 😎😅😁🇺🇲❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤️
RSM with a chest full of campaign medals.. Ceremonial duties are just part of their duties.🙂 👍
How on earth do the soldiers see? Amazing!
Oh, the little bitty girl on the scooter 🤗 sooooo cute!!!!
Bless her.
Yes, and her daddy, too.
I think it is the guards little daughter or sister, and they waited for their family, the woman with the red coat and the 2 men walking away, altogether. It must be the guards family.
Beautiful gesture. How do the Guards see while wearing those 'hats' though?
That's so sweet. She must have felt so special. What's the occasion?
It was Trooping the colour at Horseguards on Saturday It was the guards family / guests.
Thanks for the info. Love the pageantry of King's Guards + Army, Navy & Airforce of England. You do it so well. Not so much of that here in New Zealand!
@@noradinneen1 You are very welcome So proud to be British
I wish I'd been born in London! Fabulous city.
The tall guardsman is WO1 David (George) Roper MVO, Grenadier Guards. His appointment is Superintending Clerk Headquarters Household Division. One of the most senior appointments in the British Army. Only battalion RSM's of the 5 foot guards Regiments , GSM London district, Superintending Clerk Headquarters Household Division, Academy Sergeant Major and Regimental Sergeant Majors at extra-regimental employment who have previously held the appointment of Regimental Sergeant Major of a Foot Guards Battalion. These WO1 appointments are the only one's permitted to wear the large coat of arms (big badge) about the elbow.
Smart soldiers and police officers are dressed like sacks of potatoes!
The real RSM of the family. That’s awesome.
I wonder how he can see through this fur 😅 but very nice guy ❤
'Yep, your with me, let's go', what an adorable moment, these are the times we cherish most 😊❤👍
Guards in full uniform but off duty, this is an annual family day or a special "passing out" or Medal day.. The little girl is there for her Dad or big brother.
When wearing that uniform threy,re on duty
He was in full uniform because he was taking part in Trooping the colour He is collecting his family and walking across the road to Horseguards where it was taking place on Saturday
I’m honored to share a few moments.
How kind of the Guard and that little girl will never forget this❤
She likely gets to see that every year considering she is the daughter.
That little girl held the hand of jesus(RSM), right-hand man of god (CO)!!!
Jetzt ist mein ❤ gemeltet .....
😪
Love it the Kings Guards are sure class period .
That soldier carries a lot of rank he is a garrison sergeant major
❤️🇳🇿🇬🇧
She seems to really like holding his hand. Not so scary RSM 😊
How the heck can he see thru all that fuzz ?
I’m too scared to approach the royal guards I could get into trouble…
WO1 David Roper. Top bloke. 👍🏻🫡
These guards are wonderful. I do feel sorry for them heavy, hot uniforms they wear, though. Kinda wish I had the dry cleaning contract for them.
I would love to know how the guards see with that bear hat on, I know that they don't but it's like do they have holes in the hat to see?
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️🤎Wish it was like that here in the USA. Maybe our young kids wouldn't die so early due to their parent's ignorance.
That was probably the royal guard's daughter or granddaughter.. 😇
كأن الملكة ڤيكتوريا لسة عايشة،وقد طوى النسيان زهران فلاح دنشواى،والإنجليز اتنمردوا بعدما كانوا اوباش.
I think that’s very probably the young girls father, they were certainly his guests, he says so……😅😊
Tired of watching videos and then loosing vision and never able to find them.again .
Omg, so are you saying he isn't a toy soldier and he has a child 😮😮😮 (that was sarcasm).
RSM so he is DAD to everyone on that parade, not just his little lady. Smart as a carrot 🥕
Why didn't that guards officer salute that RAF Air Officer that passed him by.
00:10 Joel McHale made a cameo
Could be his daughter and wife
Are those hats still made out of bears?
Do Not let your Children near the Royal Family.
The is the father to the girl.
How can he see?
He can
Little cutely charmers like her can always get special treatment from men.
How do they see??
The same way Claudia winkleman does with her fringes😬
Those people are not regulars
Those hats are fckin ridiculous 😅
Doesn't look like they can see much whilst wearing those hats.
Por que esses guardas tem que usar esses chapéus ridículos e ainda, essa corrente na boca, como se fosse um freio de cavalo?
Not an officeR, RSM.
But warrant officer
😄
I must have one tough heart. No feeling at all. 🤔
My heart didnt melt..
😂
Maybe you don't have 1😂
My God it’s like herding Cats give our smart lad in the fancy hat a pay raise! 😂
He doesn't walk or Act like a guard!!! 🤣
Primera vez qué veo a un guardiá buena jente porqué todos son muy enojones
No, they take their serious job seriously, they’re not angry unless provoked and even then you wouldn’t know it.
Oh yeah, this was for the trooping of the colour the kings birthday
That what the Guards have become the only thing that’s missing is the lollipop stick
❤❤
