Froggy, amazing flying, i can only dream to be at your level with that plane. I started flying last monday, and then a few times this past week, have my Track IR 5 Pro setup, and controls ingame setup, im a noob, learning controls, and tweaking them stage. I mainly fly the Stuka without any attachments, just trying to learn to control it, and get everything down, so far i can take off and land np, i tried engaging some cars for the first time yesterday, got sorta of close but i need alot of practice, and more adjustments with my controls. I admire your skill and ease, hats off to you man!
@@FroggyFrog9000 Wonderful, thanks for the tips and information this will be great to learn from. Currently i dont fly with the engine management, all my focus right now is just basic take off, landing, and flight, and sorting controls with that along with looking around, really just keeping it simple for now til i get beyond the basics of it. Then when i feel competent i will get into the engine management, i think its easier right now as theres just way to much information to take in right now to start with all the details. For flying itself im not new to it, i been flying on and off for 20yrs in the OFP/Arma series, i currently fly for a coop group for a major WW2 mod we use, my specialty is flying the Stuka with the 37mm pylon cannons attached, i use low level tactics like Rudel. In Arma3 which is what i mostly play its not a flight sim, it has aspects of it but nothing major like IL2 is. Here is my latest video on my channel, i posted this, this past weekend, this i recorded during a coop mission with 3 other guys, i just took the best kills i made from an a couple hours worth and put them into one, check it out th-cam.com/video/4BHyK2cGCKs/w-d-xo.html&t
+FroggyFrog9000 *I presume, in the Junkers-87, the wing-guns trigger is also the bomb-pickle safety?* The KG-12/13/14-series stick grips used a main trigger that, when flipped up and back, doubles as a safety for the top button (the propshaft cannon on some Bf 109 mods, the rockets release on the Bf 262, for example).
Sheesh thats some detail, I think it sounds like they would do that because it would REALLY suck to pull the trigger to fire the MGs and instead have a 250kg HE drop to the ground a few meters below. lol.
They kind of did! - there is an option to fix to the wings two pods, each pod contains 3 double MG's - probably MG81s, and so you get 12 MG and a HUGE rate of fire that sounds like an A10 :)
That would be around 18.000 rds 300 per second and probably 100-150 per burst... that's even in my fantasy overkill ;) Got the game few weeks ago, but didn't played it till now. Should dig out my stick and get new rudder pedals. Hope trackIR5 is still working. Hope the game supports 21:9 screens.
Its called camouflaged netting, from the air it makes anything in the netting not be seen as it blends into the ground and surrounding brush and terrain.
I totally love these vids.
Brilliantly done
seriously cool vid, well piloted, captivating watch

This is fun watching dive bombing. Done it in a Dauntless though in Pacific Fighters. Hope to see more.
Cheers:) It is a dramatic type of flying.
Is the armor tacked-on to the canopy and both sides of the cockpit an option, somewhere?
Yeh it;s the additional armour plates option in weapons settings, adds 60Kg of pilot protection.
Awesome
Watching the same vids again and again make some new dude they are awesome
thanks man
Can you play IL-2 effectively with just a mouse and keyboard?
4x MG81z in the wings would be around 12.000 rds per minute..... too bad they didn't try this out ;)
