Somebody didn't properly tie the wheel axel nuts! Good show , the Petliakov was a shapely bird, didn't realise it had airbrakes for dive bombing , suppose it is obvious not just a level flight bomb dropper , as for the size, but then again the Me 110 which is a very similar aircraft type, didn't do dive bombing although the 110 leans a bit more ti the 'heavy fighter' category i suppose! Good show!
thanks man. Yeh these are interesting planes, pe-2 is fast and carries 1000kg, its a bit like a mosquito only not quite as fast and mafe of aluminium but its a similar concept, similar to ju88 too, although ju88 carried 3000kg almost
This video gives you away as either an aircraft maintainer, or someone who has been around real aircraft regularly. The video starts with you performing a flight control check. I don't think anyone outside of the maintenance field would ever think to do that or think it's necessary. Am I right?
Correct and if you have a look at my patreon page I have detailed there that one of the main goals of this channel is to build a aircraft of my own design.
+FroggyFrog9000 *Mention of the turret for **_Izdelie_** 87:* Were the flexible guns in the Petljakov-2S-87 the 12.7x108 Pulemjot Berezina Universal'noe (ПБУ) or Pulemjot Shpitalnogo-Vladimirova (ПШВАК)? Both were used in aircraft for different missions. Also, after the bomb delivery, I noticed the snapshot on a presumed Junkers-88, meaning at least one fixed 12.7x108 Pulemjot; the radioman might have followed up with the starboard 7.62x54R Pulemjot Degtjarjova Pekhotnij (ПДП) (two thereof installed along with one of the aforementioned 12.7x108's) simultaneously with the dorsal gunner's 12.7x108 tracking shot.
I have a new focus on surviving the mission and making it back to base for smooth landing. I actually got shot down in practice, when I stayed in the combat zone.
I dunno. lol. I reckon it could have been prior combat damage or it could have been that the specific compound of metal they used was not as superior as first thought :)

Froggy Frog 9000 what will this aircraft be? A Bf 109 K4 replica? Hehehe...

It's the rear wide-angle turret option with a 12.7mm UBT mg.
0:20 looks cool
Must have been built in Coventry
Russian pilot: *We pay hold runway, we use whole run way*
That one ended sooner that I’d expected - Why not finish off the Stuka?

Why the landing gear fall off ?! Oo

It jusst like
Tire: *IM OUT!!*
It was kind of a waste to drop 4 bombs on a single tank but cool.
