Well done !!! Gosh you’re awesome for learning how to do new things ! Especially when you clearly have a lovely very handy husband there who could whip it up in no time ! GOD bless you both. You’re both so lovely and calming Both of your voices are very soothing
Great job Nikki. Looking good. Can't wait to see the finished project. This will make your life a lot easier. Nice to see your husband helping you out. He's a keeper...lol See you on your next one. Have a great week !
I like it! I do think a little table would be nice to have over the drivers side wheel well. Nothing hard or elaborate. Just something you can place items on and things like that. Just 4 legs and a table top. That way it can be removed easily if need be. Can’t wait to see how the build progresses!
I like your build. Its simple and sufficient for what you want. The wheelwells are a pita to build around but a nice cabinet/table built over that would be cool. Shoot you could probably even do a murphy table in there and fold it up when u arent using it .
For the rear end of your bed you mentioned a slide out table. You could do a slide out base with drop down legs for the plastic container and you won't have to set the container on the ground.
Good plan to make a cardboard pattern first , that way you can see if it fits before you go cutting any board, because I'm sure down there is like here they don't exactly give away plywood LOL. Yeah those wood stands are not as easy as they look and the ones you have there are a little fancier than the ones I have lol. Full marks for getting in there and doing the work yourself and not getting it done for you , but then again I really didn't expect it any other way LOL The ability to be able to remove those pins and take that section apart awesome idea. looking forward to part 2 , hope you have an awesome week my friend.
Thanks Nikki 🙏 I’m currently configuring a new platform in a Gen 3. Also considering a new roof rack to accommodate additional storage. 😵💫 Honestly The Process Makes Me Appreciate My Humble Abode More. But The Road Keeps Calling Me😅
@@billdee6398 Roof rack is a good idea. I had one and it started to rust so I took it off. I’m planning to paint it and attach it back on because they do come in handy with storage.
Hello darling great job I sure once you get everything put together it will be perfect for what you need to camp always measure twice and cut once but you guys stay safe and God bless love form west Virginia ❤️
Ha Nikki, Near the beginning you said (I know nothing) well don't put yourself down just because you looked up some stuff on TH-cam and your husband gave you a hand. Remember you're the one doing all the work, and you're doing a great job, I'm sure once you're finished it will look amazing. But for now, the bed is looking cool. Nice job Nikki
Is there nothing you can’t do? Nikki you look like a pro cutting that plywood. So far it looks great. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
