Marttiini Arctic Carving Knife

I show this simply nice Finish knife. Comes with scandi grind and carbon steel blade what is the best for work with wood, carving, spliting, make fine work..Handle is from northen birch, back of the blade is good with firesteel, sheats is leather but slim app. 2mm Handle is also with no guard, but that take you more freedom with touch and possition hands in work with knife. For me is that knife representing finish backwood life and outdoor activities. If you have experience with northen knifes you will Marttiini Arctic Carving Knife love it.
Overal size 196mm, Handle 10,6cm and Blade 9cm, thikness 2,5mm, carbon steel blade, 75g weight so is lightweight you can wear on neck as neck knife. Price from 31€ until 42€..That knife easly beat Mora Kansbol..or other lowprice knifes.

I have found that the marttiinis with these blades are not really good to get spark from. The steel is a 1080 steel I believe. They are very sharp and great blades though for cutting. I think they must have more vanadium or something in them and less carbon.

Probably yes hardly get spark, but is good Light weight knife for bushcrafting

No ja stým pazurikom mam už takú uchylku každý uhlíkac skúšam ako hádže iskru 😉 to už ako prepersky test, jedlo, lieky, a zápalky alebo niečo čím založí oheň bude dosť vzácne pri blackoute ako fin kríza, vojnový konflikt, korona vyrus.. Ľudia všetko vykupia😉
