@@AaronsEndurookay cool just got mine, first bike actually. Any advice on exhaust ? the original one sounds so trash to me i want something similar to a crf 4 stroke sound Lol
did you get a normal 170 kit or the racing 170 kit? i saw both before but i don't know the differences. the racing one is way more but i don't know if it is any better.
Well depends which klx model you had ridden. This is the “G/RF” model. Which has fullsize wheelset (21”/18”) and taller front forks and extended rear swingarm (its even bigger than the klx140L) Im 6’1 , yes its still a touch smaller than 100% comfortable but its a great size to learn to develop rider skill and confidence on the crazier terrain
@@AaronsEnduro oh yeah, I'm sure. I had to ride my friends upnorth because my 250 didn't like the trails and kept overheating I'm pretty sure it was the smaller one because I'm only 5'9
Yeah the stock suspension is extremely soft to cater to a light weight rider going at a slower pace. After doing the BBR heavy duty springs you’ll see featured in a video its a night n day difference
@@Sadaatty about 2000$ canadian. You won’t gain any MPH. Mph is only determined by your gearing. You could give any bike 1000hp and they’ll all have the same MPH as before.
Its been absolutely fantastic! Yes you’ll need a bigger carb setup. Should be linked in the description. Most people are running a vm26 mikuni. If you port the head you’ll wanna bump up to the pwk28carb
Can't wait to see how it turns out! Will definitely be watching every episode!
New videos everyday!
That's awesome can't wait to see the 170 build, eventually I want to do the same to my 140rf , looking forward to video.
New videos everyday till its done! Definitely a fantastic set of mods
That thing is sick, I didn't realize all the parts on the 110 and the 140 are almost the same.
They’re similar but im not sure that many parts transfer working between the two
Good deal and looks like your making over the whole bike with the suspension upgrade ! 👍
Its gonna be a whole new bike and riding experience!
Where abouts in BC are you buddy? Looks like some nice riding spots you have around there
The lower island!
Thanks for sharing! Keep safe always. 😍😍😍 I got also klx140rf with BBR 63mm bore, Pro Circuit t6, BBR cams, 28mm carb
Thats awesome! Its such a sick fun play bike!
What handlebars do you think would be good for my son? And the rental bar link doesn’t work.
Oooooo this is going to be beast that bike is going to be niiiiice
She gonna be 🔥🔥🔥

Congrats Bro❤
LETS GOOO
How much horsepower will the exhaust in the big bore kit add?
You’ll need the rest of the supporting mods to have it run right, youll gain around 7HP it’s what i read
I want to build a trail bike cause they are fun. how much power does this make? cause I want a powerful one
It went from 9hp to 15hp
how long before you felt like you neeeded to upgrade?
About 70 hours of ride time

I’ve personally never seen a “racing” one
But if you ask me that sounds like a waste for a klx140 lol
Just get the one linked in the description 🤙🏼
@@AaronsEnduro i think the racing one has more compression than a standard big bore. it is a forged piston so it can take more.
Everyone i know runs a standard 170 kit as they’re proven reliable. Specifically the TB parts kit
Yea I just bought the racing one. It was on a good offer so. It’s Wisco piston so it should be pretty goid
Have fun with it! Let me know how it goes for ya!
Dude u spent some coin bro! Let's get it all put together on video! Video it all, seeing that you can't upload any riding vids, do it man!
You’ll see it!!! Videos everyday until its done
Yet to see the most expensive part!
I just rode a klx140 last weekend isn't it a little small for you. How tall are you

This model would be perfect for someone like 5’8-5’10
@@AaronsEnduro oh ok it seemed pretty fun to ride still, very soft suspension though felt like a pillow for jumping😂 its a fun pitbike

what does all of this cost and how much more performance can you get out of the bike in MPH top and bottom end....?
@@Sadaatty about 2000$ canadian. You won’t gain any MPH.

So what do I gain for 2000 Candian dollars?
If it upgrades up to 170cc whaf does that mean? In terms of performance
@Sadaatty you have 30cc’s more displacement in engine size.
Yes sir I understand, but what does that translate to in riders experience?
Faster acceleration, top end, torque? Etc
Hey man I got some questions my journey is starting similar to yours how would I get in direct contact with you?

The links are useful but do the springs have to bro my for the g model or would the r model work too
This rear spring is only designed for the G/RF/L model. Not the standard R
Ok thx is there one made for the r model?
Check out bbrmotorsports.com/Home/Home.aspx
Thx a lot man
Hey no problem! Hopefully get ya all setup with the bbr parts you need!
Nice bro 👌
Thanks bro 🤘🏼🤘🏼

What was the cost?
Around 2k cad
Where did u get the black plastic piece where the KLX sticker would go? Or is it stock
What black plastic piece?
@@AaronsEnduro The one towards the front under the plastic of the gas tank. I was just curious because my ended up cracking😂
Thats just factory how it comes!
I just snapped mine too lol

is the 170cc big bore kit from tbparts reliable, and will i need a new carb for the boar if so what carb should i choose that is not over $120
