Fixing an outboard motor that hasn't ran in years - Spirit/Suzuki 2hp outboard repairs/no spark

In this video I fix up this 50 year old Spirit 2hp outboard made by Suzuki. The motor likely hadn't ran in many years but I was able to get it running again.

I was surprised how nice this motor runs. Whenever I see these small outboards on marketplace, I think their just noisy pieces of junk. But that one seems smooth and quiet and really easy to get going even though the gas tank looked like it was left open on an asparagus field

😂 they kind of are noisy POS but they’re simple to work on. I think since it’s a single cylinder and low hp it’s a less obnoxious 2 stroke

That carb was gnarly! haha Great job saving another outboard. You're video on the honda b100 really helped me out a lot. Mine fires right up every time now.
