    Great tip. Saved hours... already thought I gotta render all my stuff... with plugin nap I can finish my project easily ☺ ... I just switched from cubase 2 months ago... and I couldn't be happier... for every case I am looking for I find a solution in studio one. It's like the developers had all the same thoughts and problems like me and already implemented solutions for everything I have to handle with...

    I will try that, thank you.....I'm recording at 32/96 as on my Mac computer. I had digital drop outs if loaded too many tracks and recorded higher resolution....I also remove any tracks that I'm not using before final mix down as I setup a template for each song...I have been also deleting the click tracks tracks before I do a final mix, I believe it bleeds over even though its on mute, simple to do. While I'm here the Auroundtrip that I like using on the master bus puts a digital click on the front of my mix when I use it sometimes, think its some kind of anomaly. Thank you for these videos, they help so much!

    Hi Gregor! Why my SO have constant CPU spikes even with plugin Nap or inclusive without any plugin loaded?! I try all! Bios CPU config (Intel 12 gen) GPU drivers, ASIO, background procces and nothing work! Any solution? Thank you!

    Thanks for the informative video; this is actually a nice feature. I would also love to see it freeze all plugins that allow playing complex projects for auditory purposes without dropouts and glitches.

    Just curious why wouldn't you just always use Plugin Nap if it's so transparent as long as misbehaving plugins are already disabled from napping?

    • @presonus
      @presonus  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Because it is hard to anticipate which plug-ins are going to misbehave with it. It's just a few, but it's tough to predict. If Plug-in nap was enabled by default, and users aren't aware of this feature (& don't realize they can turn it off on a per-Plugin basis), this could lead to issues. -GBY

    Wish it would work with VST Instruments too. If you uncheck the nap the Instrument is completely disabled.

    If you use the Mix Fx engine, plugin nap doesn't work. Make it so Mix fx runs independently from the inserts and sends or vice-versa.

      Please explain what you mean by making Mix Fx run independently …!

    Should we cancel this option during the final save, or is there no problem with activating this option?

    • @presonus
      @presonus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, no risk whatsoever in using this option. If you don't hear any issues during playback, there shouldn't be any issues during saving / mixdown either. :) -GBY

    Is there any solution to cancel the USB digita noise in recording?

    • @presonus
      @presonus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Philip, try increasing the gain in order to increase the distance to the noise floor. That should make it so that even at 0dbfs peak, you would still not be able to hear the USB noise. Alternatively, you could try using an Expander: th-cam.com/video/B2pqzi7gi4o/w-d-xo.html
      Hope this helps! -GBY

    Hello, I have a question regarding the settings that attempt to resolve latency in Studio One.
    The LOW LATENCY INSTRUMENT MONITORING option disables (turns off) the WAVES, CLA NX plugin.
    Any ideas why this happens and/or how to fix it?
    (Sorry for my bad English, I used Google Translate)
