Vinesauce Vinny gets flagged for using his own music in his own streams, and has no issue with other people using it but they get flagged too despite Vinny telling the distributors to stop doing that several times. It's actually an issue and it's weird how much these things try to protect music at all costs. Why is there a system for flagging music, but not one that doesn't?
I'm glad he's sticking with this game despite the backseating from chat, it's pog content. That said I don't blame them for backseating, his tunnel patterns are actually insane, but it adds to the content
There is just 2 kinds of gamers, and it's either chaos or order. Chaos gamers would get slightly annoyed at constantly needing neat tunnels, but order gamers go APESHIT over disorganized stuff. It's hilarious. PS: I know that having more efficient tunnels makes the game easier.

Exactly. It's the content we love NL for. If he's not going to be himself and min-maxing every run like every other streamer then the stream will have lost its character and probably its viewers too...

This man makes me want to buy Dome Keeper exclusively to soothe the aching discomfort produced this man's psycho tunnels by making some non-psycho tunnels of my own.
Every 20 minutes of NLs dome keeping I have to detox by watching an hour of Baertaffys sane mining
It's so good, been playing for like 4 hours now and I'm mega hooked. People saying it doesn't have enough content just don't like the gameplay loop all that much. The gameplay by itself is so fun I don't really care about the "lack of content", I end up just wanting to keep the runs going as long as I can.

You know, that's the beauty of video games, people can play how they want. Why do SO MANY people backseat this man? I really don't get it. I've been rewatching him play Slay the Spire and every comment is saying how bad he is, even though he does better than most people. I just don't get it man
That's how NL got me into most of the games he plays
At this point I'm convinced he purposefully mines chaotically, as to increase emotional investment in character development for this tv show
I'm looking forward to this next season now that we've finished the Simultaneous Campylobacter And Salmonella season
I think this is true as it gets the viewers so annoyed that they buy the game themselves to make better tunnels

NL bought the probe memory, but he didn't have the brain memory to ever return to where he'd probed.
To be fair to NL, he’s also bantering the whole time which takes a lot of brain power.

@@watchingaccount Try playing a game, looking at chat, responding and keeping an eye on all the stream technical stuff at the same time and see how well you do. NL actually has incredible memory, just look at his sporkle content.
@@SilverionX i was kidding, but also please don't confuse long-term memory and working memory. i have great long-term memory myself, but my working memory is terrible. i can recall lots of facts about a lot of stuff, but if you asked me to go to the shop for you i will probably forget one or two things without repeating them to myself.

The psycho tunnels had me cackling when he had to go back up through them
i laughed so hard when he went up the middle tunnel and drifted off to a side tunnel for no reason, just to realize he went off the main path xD

The toothpaste thing is "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate" and it's in most toothpastes, even non-whitening ones. Sensodine doesn't have it, and there are other's I'm not as familiar with. I used to have a mouth full of canker sores, and now it's very rare that I get one.

NL going out of his way to mine the hardest rock in the map got me fired up beyond belief! Movement speed 4 gold was causing me great emotional distress as well. 10/10

It’s amazing how commonly those two go hand in hand. I know a large number of people like that irl, including someone who went to and taught at oxford university and has multiple degrees in varied fields - they are just insanely, remarkably intelligent - and they are also easily the stupidest person I know in terms of common sense. Genuinely braindead, negative IQ in practicality.
Its a good idea to keep something near the top unmined so you can use a seed for it. Like the triangle you started with here would have been perfect for unlimited triangles to pick up right by the base.

Id say if you have the ability to ping screw having nice looking tunnels. Thats most of the purpose of nice looking tunnels.
Probe is actually goated. Instead of mining every 3 layers, you can just mine like every 6 layers, send it, see what you get, and move to the other side/further down. It's freelo.

I just had a similar medicine issue the other day. I was looking for usage instructions, and all I could find was "take no more than 6 tablets every 24 hours", and since it was an 8 hour medicine, I could tell the serving was 2 tablets, but it said that absolutely nowhere on the bottle
Immediate dig speed and carry speed is the best start before any weapons upgrades

Aimlessly psycho-mining like this is pretty inefficient, as you'll actually find resources less consistently than with proper strip mining not to mention missing some entirely. the cherry on top is being lost and panicked to return during an attack.

I am glad you are using teleporter! It helps so much with resource gathering. Typically I don't even move the materials to the teleporter. I let it suck the ones at that current location and the next time I teleport to it it's all done so I move to the next location and then keep mining for the cache after that.

i perfectly understand the madness of the tunnels, easier to dig soil = faster path to materials while exposing more ground, then once the materials are in hand cut a straight path. its not that hard, idk why chat is losing their mind?
You are correct, chat is losing their minds because they haven't played the game but think they know how to. Tbf, NL isn't doing it the best way either (obviously), but chat's insistence on "100% 2 wide horizontal tunnels from ceiling to bedrock" is also wrong in my experience. If you do that, you will not have the iron to keep up with the game difficulty.
I'm just now catching up on vods, maybe they'll change their minds when he gets to huge maps where tough substrate at the bottom layer takes 5 seconds to mine per tile even with a 30 iron drill upgrade (or when they start playing it themselves)

The thing with the "melee resistance" on the laser dome, is that it doesn't effect your shield stats, so when you were leaving the melees bc they "did less dmg", they were essentially making the ranged do more because they ate your shield
