I bought a house and a business all in one when I was 21 and had it paid for by the time I was 30. Of course, things were so much cheaper then. I'm 55 now and getting my van ready to start taking some trips to start my new business and have some fun while I'm at it! Who knows, maybe I'll start a TH-cam channel. Hi! As another person with a lung disease, I just want to mention, I can't hang out with burning candles because they put vaporized wax into the air, and also wood stoves and fireplaces, because of the air pollution or smoke from the flames. SO just a heads up to protect your lungs.

I loved the part where you said you wrote them a really nice letter..I can only imagine what the homeowners thought, they were getting all these offers probably and then the realtor was like "here, this offer comes with a handwritten letter"..real estate is usually all about money and I'm sure they loved recieving a letter and knew they had to choose you.

I bought a house a little over a year ago. The market was crazy then also. I never thought I would be a homeowner either. It's a great feeling! I'm glad I did bc there are lots of people paying more than my mortgage for a small apartment! Or landlords raising the rent so ppl can't afford it! Congratulations to you! Wow! I also always had such a dream but I never did it....you did it. Like you I'm doing many many things by my own....so I noticed your comment about the shower cabin: I exactly have the same claustrophobic feeling in such a small shower.... Simply remove it and build a great open shower corner with mosaic, install a rain shower at the ceiling, place green jungle plants around it and let the water flow in direction to the corner.
