Last year I helped my sister to practice over 100 speaking questions. I used tips from Chris (in addition to my own knowledge) when giving her feedback; it's mostly about keeping things simple and being fluent. We also explored many different topics to the point that she was comfortable speaking about most things. She eventually scored 7.5 in speaking, the same score I got in 2018. I filmed myself answering practice speaking exams but can´t really tell, if I am doing a good job. I try too hard to give amazing answers and focus more on that than using different vocabularys. (I tend to use "nice" at least three times in every single speaking test I do.) Furthermore my structure in part 3 isn´t the best yet. But perfect practice makes perfect, right?
And I definitely spent too much time watching videos of "real speaking tests". Furthermore I talk too fast and tend to talk too much. So I don´t have a problem with talking for 2minutes straight, but rather with answering all bullet points.
