I have used the PPF strategy, and it does work. I scored an 8 when I used it. But this method seems much better, when you can speak about anything as long as it is roughly related to the main topic.
1. say which country it is 2. say where do you know this country 3. say which places attracted you and explain why 4. say what do you get from this visit 5. say what's the difference between this country and your country 6 provide a review of the visit (positive or negative) 7. tell everyone you would revisit this country or not.
Thanks Chris i have gotten High Pass 6.5 in LangCert B2 Communicator SELT I will take course in Listing and Writing soon with you you are the simplest teacher i have ever faced 🥰
This is really a good one and my teacher also taught me this strategy like- first speak about the main topic (opening statement) then relates it to yourself (talking about myself..........) afterwards cover your bulletpoints which are mentioned with the question. And doing this strategy i achieved 7 bands in previous mock test.
I would like to visit America. Being the sole superpower in the world right now, America is definitely worth visiting. It would be fascinating to get a first hand view of what life in America is like, what the people are like, and what American society is like. One of the reasons that America is a popular tourist destination is the wide reach of hollywood and the american media. People all over the world are actually quite familiar with american culture, so it's only natural that they would actually want to go over there. America is called "the home of the free and the land of the brave", and a land that values "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", and I would love to get a chance to see with my own eyes what that looks like in real life. Also, there are so many places to visit in America, and that includes man made monuments and natural wonders. I would like to see the statue of liberty, the lincoln memorial, the Umpire state building, the white house, and maybe NASA; that's all that comes to mind right now. And then there is the Grand Canyon, the Niagara falls, maybe the great lakes. It would also be fun to visit the headquarters of some of the giant corporations that are based in the US- this includes tech giants such as Google and facebook, and influential media corporations like CNN, MSNBC and Fox. It would be quite an experience to get to see the operations of these companies from up close.

I gave my IELTS exam today and this is mainly the task I majorly flopped at. And as I gave my speaking test at the beginning, this bad start really got to me. Although I had only two days to prepare for my IELTS, I just wish I found this channel from the start. I kind of wasted the two days watching a non-professional channel. If there is an IELTS mentor in this platform who actually knows what he is doing and also manages to make learning his methods fun, it’s definitely Mr Chris. Whoever is here reading this and have been following the teachings of this Channel, rest assured you are in the right place. Good luck with your exams!

i attended the exam today and was lost in part 2😭 it's about tradition, my mind went blank. i forgot to tell a story related to this tradition that we celebrate to reach 2 mins. I should have relate it on how we have not celebrated this festival last year due to pandemic. I think it is also a must that you really go early in the venue area, it is because sometimes you encounter delay along the way and you will be really stressed. In my case, I lose my composure & haven't conditioned my mind because i arrived just a minute before the test time for my speaking after hiking for about 15 minutes.

This nation is well-known for high-tech companies like samsung ,LG electronics and kia motors all around the globe . They have both fast growing cities and green, hilly countryside with cherry trees. I would like to enjoy each moment in this country by visiting lotte mall and theme park, historical village and wearing traditional hanbok and namsan tower. This is my answer, I hope you can give me some feedbacks: I'm gonna talk about the following points: - What country is it? South Korea - K-pop and its cuisine - Will you book a tour guide? - Why would you like to visit that country? Here is my answer : The country that I'm gonna speak about is called South Korea which is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world. This country is famous for various reasons : The first one is that South Korea is the land of K-pop which is notable for its catchy melodies, impressive choreography and group members looking very polished. Secondly, the food there is delicious. There's a wide range of traditional dishes to opt for and I think by enjoying its cuisine, I can find out some fascinating features about Korean culture. In addition, I suppose i'll definitely book a tour guide during my holiday there because they will arrange a specific itinerary for me so that I'll know exactly what I'm gonna do next and places that I'll visit without carrying out much researches. I assume part of the reason why I've always wanted to visit South Korea is because of the weather pattern. It's generally colder than my country in the winter so I'll be able to put on winter clothing which I think is the most fashionable one and thus I could have my pictures taken beautifully.
I am studying with an ex-examiner and he says me that ppf + conditional is a good technique. I think students should choose the most appropriate method of expressing ideas where they can feel themselves comfortable.

I have used the PPF strategy, and it does work. I scored an 8 when I used it. But this method seems much better, when you can speak about anything as long as it is roughly related to the main topic.
Thanks for your strategies, I find it interesting and I hope one day you will make more videos like this! Take care!

You are a brilliant teacher !
This is really helpful, thanks Chris.
This is really a good one and my teacher also taught me this strategy like- first speak about the main topic (opening statement) then relates it to yourself (talking about myself..........) afterwards cover your bulletpoints which are mentioned with the question. And doing this strategy i achieved 7 bands in previous mock test.
Great! Thank you for sharing. If you'd like our team to guide you through your IELTS preparation, please email us.

I think, not think but i exactly know that it was the best decision to follow you. Thank you for your help❤

S-7
W-7.5

Overall= 7.5 (Just a .5 away from 8 😅)
Although took my preps in just 2 days but still missing that band 8 is hurting me a little now.
Anyways, keep up the good work!! 🙌🏻
i attended the exam today and was lost in part 2😭 it's about tradition, my mind went blank. i forgot to tell a story related to this tradition that we celebrate to reach 2 mins.

I had started to watch korean series and being fan of k-pop from the year 2007 which is always fascinating and provokes my desire to explore South Korea ever since visit to this country is in my bucket list. And even i want to spent atleast 2 or 3 days in jeju island which is really beautiful and of course concerts.

Key: be yourself, choose the ideas that is easy/comfortable for you to talk abou
This is my answer, I hope you can give me some feedbacks:
I'm gonna talk about the following points:
- What country is it? South Korea
- K-pop and its cuisine
- Will you book a tour guide?
- Why would you like to visit that country?
Here is my answer :
The country that I'm gonna speak about is called South Korea which is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world.
Thanks for your comment!
