I watched the video and didnt hear american accent at all. All I felt was her trying to be more relaxed in her pronunciation and fluency and avoiding some mispronunciations by stereotypical indian accent. Many people just mistake insufficient stressing in pronunciation and intonation as american accent since that is how americans usually speak.
Thankyou ielts advantage , i have got my result with a 7.5 overall band scores . I must say your tips and guidance made me score a band 8 in speaking .

Priyanka Chopra would be in 9.0 territory in the interview examples for her use of idiomatic language. First part, listen carefully, 'get into' + 'her life is so chill.' Second part, 'I'm not a starver.' She didn't use clichéd or memorized idioms, just really natural, spoken idiomatic language. Perfect examples in that interview. I wouldn't recommend using her speech, which probably took hours to prepare, as an example of a Part 2 long-turn example in IELTS. You only get one minute to prepare, not one day! One day, I realized my weakness, then I started to watch and take notes to practice by my self, record my answers and hear it over and over. I recorrected my mistakes after I listened to my recorded answers. Trust me , I got 7.5 speaking in my second attempt . I would recommend priyanka Chopra interviews, PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi , and Tedx platform videos. These three are having a great content to learn and improve English.

How is that possible that the people still asking such silly questions about accent, if the criteria about pronunciation are written and accessible to everyone? There is no a single word about accent. 🤦🏽♂️ Examinees, just carefully read the requirements to the test. It's one page doc. There is no magical mumbo-jumbo technique.
