HEY! Thanks for watching! Please Like and SUBSCRIBE! It helps out a ton! Leave a comment! Hopefully I could provide some insight! I also went over the 9 tiles without thinking but it all still works! Remember, this is my take and there is several ways to achieve a balanced budget - I just chose to do it quickly!
I love the new challenge trying to build a new, realistic nice looking city, while trying to manage the budget. So freaking good compared to how it was where money really didn’t matter.
Thank you so much. Gravel roads and industry is not something I did in the old game, and now it seems essential. After 400 people, I'm already raking in 50k a month! We'll see how it continues though...
this might be the first tutorial to work (havent tried it but seems legit) so thanks in advance man edit: it did infact work, thank you making 22k an hour bc all my taxes (except residential, which i have on 0) are on max and i have a shit ton of stone farms
Like that a lot. If you say Tem-pe-re it sounds as they say it in Finland. The e sounds just like it does in the Word ”end”. So just Tempere so easy. 😉
I'm so lost on utilizing transportation such as buses, trams, subways, trains. I have traffic management and road traffic flows really well, no idea how to utilize other means of transport properly. Also don't understand utilizing districts - i put districts well into a city of over 140k and immediately started dropping population
Do I need to keep the outside power connection connected to my Transformer when I want to export excess power? Or even if that connection is removed my surplus power will get exported?
My city is at 50k population and I have -money every night and sometimes day. I have not enough capacity in my schools, hospitals or garbage and I'm honestly pretty frustrated. No tricks I have learned works and the economy 2.0 destroyed my last city (all my budget goes on services and almost none on tile upkeep) I export goods, water and electricity. PLS HELP. How do I deal with this??? (Yes I have adjusted my services and I'm still in minus even while earning money from schools)
It's counter-intuitive, but the best thing is to *lower* Residential taxes (to 8% starting, gradually working down to 5% later). You'll get tons and tons of cims moving in - cims that need jobs and shopping. I set my taxes to 8% Res, 9% Com, and 11% Ind (leaving Office @ 10%) as soon as they unlock and am in the black no later than Milestone 4. By Milestone 8, I'm making bank almost faster than I can spend it.
@@CesarsHideout Update. I thought I figured it out but nope. If I have to build dirt roads to play the game properly, I'm just not going to play it and I will advise others to hold off on buying this game until it's reduced to like $5 like all these half assed unfinished games should be.
This is great, thankyou! Could you please make a part 2, so we understand how to destroy and rebuild, with proper roads, whilst still maintaining a positive $
He mentioned to upgrade roads over time from dirt roads to normal roads whenever you feel like when its needed or when more people are flooding into your city. Hope this helps

this game sucks thats all I can say about it.
Have you tried increasing taxes for everything to 11/% ?
@@Hazan12345yes I have it's at 13%

So helpful - I've been screaming at the screen for days!
I feel the pain haha 😂 took me awhile to get used to it. The answer is always MORE INDUSTRY 😂
I'm starting to regret my purchase of this game tbh
I had the same sentiment for the longest time - it's kind of grown on me now tho.
@@CesarsHideout Update I finally got a city of 1200 people in the green with the budget. I doubt it will last very long though.
