Above all else, Tekken 7 finally made me understand why Heihachi was so kind towards Xiaoyu all this time. It's not just because he saw some of Kazumi from her or the fact he is quite a gentleman towards women, but it's because he knew that falling in love with a person with the devil gene is bad news, and he didn't want her to go through a similar experience he went through by loving Jin.
@@jessicaliong8671 I don't think Heihachi and Jun ever had an interaction. Heihachi drops Kazuya off a cliff before Tekken 1. Kazuya drops Heihachi off the same cliff in Tekken 1. Heihachi drops Kazuya into a volcano in Tekken 2. Now Kazuya drops Heihachi off into a volcano in Tekken 7.
You know, its kinda funny that a lot of us feel sorry for Kazuya in the game before Tekken 7's release, and then we find out a lot more backstory behind Heihachi and what happened in his past, you can't help but feel a little sorry for him, as well.
TheLalchi Locking up his father to starve to death while he takes over to be a warmonger is a shitty thing he did while he while he was being a "loving father".
I was only saying that I feel sorry for both of them for different reasons. Yeah, Heihachi is a dick for killing....okay, pretty much almost every family member he had and especially trying to kill his son.....three times a matter of fact, but only because his wife one day had the Devil Gene and that's where all the craziness started. And even though, Kazuya is a dick for trying to kill his dad (and finally did so in Tekken 7, unless he somehow comes back in a future installment which I won't be surprised honestly), he only did that for revenge, due to the fact that Heihachi not only killed his mother, but was an extremely abusive father to him, once Kazuya became a certain age.
Honestly I think Tekken has one of the most morally-grey stories out of any fighting game. All three of the Mishimas are good or evil at some point. I include Heihachi in that simply because he's trying to make the devil gene extinct. If it's just Kazuya & Jin, who's to stop them if either becomes more megalomaniacal? Well, except Lars.
"Well they are trying to end the bloodline so I dont know why they are against each other" Gee I dont know, its not like a betrayal happened when Heihachi busted a cap in Jin's ass or anything in T3.
Pooh Hardy He didn't need a sign his wife and son both already had it in them, if anything it was smart for him to not take any chances even if Jin wasn't evil. Of course he could've just not done that and stayed on good terms with him to have him as an ally.
the only thing lacking here is that we should have pressed 1+2 to throw Heihachi from the cliff just like we did to Kazuya in the beginning to close the circle
Has anyone noticed that Namco took inspiration from the final fight in Metal Gear Solid 4 between Snake and Liquid, with all the flashbacks and even the exhausted all-out punching sequence?
How is Heihachi so gaht damn strong and resilient. For christ sakes he is only human, and he was able to survive even the raging demon! Commendable lol
The Mishima's are naturally stronger and more resilient than normal humans. That's why Lars is capable of superhuman feats despite not having the devil gene.
No. Lars is the biological Son of Heihachi, making him Kazuyas Half brother. Kazuya only possesses the Devil-gene because of his mother which he doesn't share with Lars. It was also answered WHY Heihachi allowed for Lars to be born: He knew is battle against Kazuya would cost him his live, and with kazuya dead as well, his family would have died out. But with Lars remaining there would still be a Mishimia left. not in name, but in a biological sense. (Remember, this was all way before Jin existed.)

Their is only 1 part I don't understand and that is why he thought the answer to all his problems was to kill Kazuya.
The Boss Rage includes the entire story mode, which is why it took so long. Even the mooks were a handful at 10 star difficulty. I was there for almost the entirety of the stream but had to tap out at around 6:30 AM PST during the Shin Akuma bonanza. Max was raging at chat pretty hard around then. IIRC, they already had over 400 deaths by the time they got to Shin Akuma.
"Are we ready?" Max, you guys did it, it's already completed... and I don't even think you're ready! Like... the footage will just cause TH-cam to implode or something.
"Hey" says Tekken 7 "so we're gonna have you play as Heihachi and fail you if you lose to Kazuya all so you can get the reward of Kazuya beating Heihachi and dying." Man, I just love it when a game makes you play through a final boss so you can get the reward of losing the way it wants you to.
You can say that Tekken 7's story mode has a lot of flaws (mainly the boring narrator), but they nailed the final battle. It is a personal fight that spans the course of over 2 decades (both ingame and real life) with sick music and cinematic scenes. It is also a fight with 4 rounds, each getting more difficult, so you feel Heihachi's struggle as the fight ramps up.
Tekken 7's story has the same problem as Blood Vengeance: too much focus on characters we don't care about, not enough Mishimas fighting. Imagine if the whole story mode was like this part.
I love how the point of Jin's change in martial art style, was to not be like Heihachi nor take after him and to also be able to beat him. Then when you compare Jin's motivations in 6 to Heihachi's in 7. You realize, Jin still takes after his Grandpa. Lol. How cute. Hahahaha.

Soap せっけん You didn't read his comment throughly enough. He didn't clarify what he was saying from the start. Which when translated, it sounds like he's saying Heihachi threw Kazuya into the lava in THIS game.
how is this a conclusion of the Mishima Saga? Kazuya is STILL alive, Jin is in a coma, Jun is STILL canonically missing. You know good damn well Kazuya will be coming for Jin when he wakes up. so the Saga isnt over. they should have just said Heihachi dies and its the end of him. what in the hell happened to Akuma? how are Akuma and Kazumi connected REALLY? why in the hell would kazumi marry into the Mishima family and have a baby just to try and kill Heihachi? Did Jinpachi know this? What in the hell is Jinpachi anyway? why did Kazumi want to kill heihachi? did heihachi have some special power we dont know about? its so many unanswered questions that makes me really disappointed.
It's called the end of the Mishima saga because it's the end of the feud between the two characters specifically called Mishima. Lars, Jin, and Lee are all technically part of the family, sure, but they all also have different names.
As corny as the story may have been at times, with the boring narrator. I really appreciate the effort from the Namco Tekken team in giving us a full game, with a story with some "excellent!" fight sequences. Especially the Akuma shit, and the last Heihachi/Kazuya battle....I loved every bit of it, other than dying 20 or so times to Devil Kaz, though I know its part of the journey. I wish the other characters had some sort of inclusion to the main story, even if it was brief and maybe some cameos from characters who didn't make the roster like Anna or Bruce who were Kazuya's 2nd in command in T6. But I like that we at least got something with the endings, so can't complain too much. Now onto the Kazama/Mishima storyline for the next 20 years =P....Curious to see if Akuma continues in the story, with Kazuya still alive and maybe finding out with Jin having a devil gene too, he'll go after him as well.
So, addressing a potential *elephant in the room*, if the character was canon, where did Angel fit into this tale of Devils and Demons? She was beside Kazuya since T2...
for those who are saying Heihachi is not dead he IS, didn't you saw how strong Kazuya punched him? he didn't even have to throw him off the lava! and even if he was not dead after that punch (he was actually dead after the punch) he couldn't even survive that lava! so please, NO MORE "Heihachi is alive" COMMENTS!!!!!!!! (don't reply me if some of you are just joking telling that Heihachi is alive)
Sort of. The cycle's been going on for a while. Yes, Heihachi through Kazuya off a cliff in his childhood. Kazuya already got back at him at the end of Tekken 1 though by throwing Heihachi off a cliff. Then Heihachi came back and at the end of Tekken 2 _throws Kazuya into a volcano._ This is Kazuya finally returning the favor 5 main games later.
I swear, if there's a more powerful and stubborn thing (other than his Devil gene) Kazuya possesses, it's his hairgel.

Guys the story mode does have an after credits scene
Coming back after the Tekken 8 announcement, Jin vs Kazuya will be intense
Both of your reactions + this final boss battle is just 🔥🔥🔥
Love it!!!
this is just like the Naruto game last fight.........oh wait...Namco made that too
I really wish I could run this game at high graphics settings bc it's honestly probably one of the most goddamn cinematic games I've ever played.
I wonder how strong Kazuya would be at full power.
I hope we see that in T8
Jin whoops devil kazuya's arse ez
@@talldronduty jin is a little bitch, fuck that emo kid
In this battle he was at full power
And Jun comes out of nowhere and snap out of their senses.
My favourite part is when Heihachi headbutts Kazuya, Jpop music starts and Heihachi walks towards Kazuya smiling
how is this a conclusion of the Mishima Saga?
DJ CLINTON We should go find Harada and beat the answers outta him.
DJ CLINTON Find out all this and more in Tekken 8!
It's called the end of the Mishima saga because it's the end of the feud between the two characters specifically called Mishima. Lars, Jin, and Lee are all technically part of the family, sure, but they all also have different names.
I hope the "true ending" Max talked about will answer more questions.
Harada's been playing too much Dark Souls.
Can we just say that the soundtrack to this game is fucking fantastic?
"It's my job as a reporter to get the truth out" BWAHAHAHAHA!! That guy must be from some different timeline.
After many games of Tekken. Finally, a Tekken character actually dies than surviving a explosion of 700,000,000 dynomite
Heihachi isn't dead. He just fell asleep.
Ya know, being asleep and under water is terrifying enough. Asleep and under molten liquid magma's gotta be some form of hell.
Yeah can we get a petition going for that kazuya costume
Never saw him hit the lava. Heihachi's come back confirmed.
I liked this story.
Had no idea what was happening half the time, but I liked it.
I just came to thanks Max for spoiling the game for me with his thumbnails and titles. I really appreciate it and am glad i subscribed.
So, addressing a potential *elephant in the room*, if the character was canon, where did Angel fit into this tale of Devils and Demons? She was beside Kazuya since T2...
I personally think Angel is a manifestation of Jun's hopes that Kazuya will become a good guy again
When I 1st saw this fight I was worried for Kazuya. It's still hard to believe that Harada made Heihachi lose when Heihachi is his favorite character.
If Heihachi comes back to life this entire comment section owes me 50$ each.
Boy am I gonna be rich.
Still waiting
@@bit427He never came back 😘
One really weird question I have is where did Kazuya pants go when he turned to his devil form but reappeared when he turned back to his normal form
Same goes for SF5 ryu wears a white gi but turns Evil then the color changes to black
Kazuya was always my favorite. So glad he won!!!
cegolau Same
But poor Heihachi... I love them both.
that Boss Rage is gonna be INCREDIBLE 😂😂😂
for those who are saying Heihachi is not dead he IS, didn't you saw how strong Kazuya punched him? he didn't even have to throw him off the lava! and even if he was not dead after that punch (he was actually dead after the punch) he couldn't even survive that lava! so please, NO MORE "Heihachi is alive" COMMENTS!!!!!!!!
(don't reply me if some of you are just joking telling that Heihachi is alive)
That ominous ending for the video, though! XD Yeah, good luck, guys. GG.
Kazuya's final form looks like Devilman does anyone else think that too or is it just me?
It's not over there's a bonus chapter
"Happy Father's Day" LMAO
That ending was petty as fuck. 'Now I get to throw YOU off the cliff, dad!'
