- I have been driving and driving the 2023 Kia Sorento EX- X-line for two months. Usually you can figure out quickly if one made a mistake in buying or not. Well, let's go for a spin and talk fuel economy, safety tech, wear and tear, and much more. In a sea of cookie cutter SUV's, Does this cut it or does it fall to the way side in regards to all the others. Watch and see. I have had the same model Sorento for three months now and I love this car. The two responses below are undoubtedly from people that have never owned this car. This is a great ride. Lots of room and it drives extremely well. I am very happy I bought this car.
How is the Sorento holding up now?

Interesting, no issues and nothing negative to say….but you’ve owned multiple multiple Kia’s in the past 10 years? Sooo, getting rid of them just before a problem? I mean, if they’re that great, why aren’t you keeping them for 10 years?
@hp-fx9pv so I rack up miles like a slot machine, and that kills value on any car, especially high miles in a short time. My wife on the other hand has 6k on her hyundai in two years. That being said my sister has a 11 year old sonata, 200k and nothing bit maintenance. My other sisters kid was given her kia rondo, 175k and its been treated rough, and she has a sportage 60k no issues. If I had any car for 10 years it would probably have close to 600k on it. What I will say is the ten year warranty is the best. Neighbor had an issue with a knock sensor at 60k and again at 90k. At 115k went back in. They replaced the engine for free. No one else even tries to warranty their stuff for more than 60k, unless one purchases the extended at extra cost.
would you recommend purchasing a 2021 Sorento SX Prestige with 33k? I owned a 2015 Sorento and it never gave me an issue until I started having trouble during Covid and the parts were on back order and the cost to get used parts were astronomical. So I got rid of it. I love the look and all the features of the 2023 and the 2021 really is not that different. Just looking for recommendations on a used Sorento. Thank and keep your videos coming!!!
I think because of the warranty is so good, you could go 21 for sure. You are 100% correct that they are not super different. That being said, ask them for a carfax so you can see its history. And right now because kia dropped so many new kids on dealer lots at one time they do have some super mark downs and always check kids website for finance rates that go hand in hand with the discounts. But if the 21 fits the needs and price is right, you should have tons of the warranty left in the event there was any issue. Keep me.posted what you decide would be great to see.
