- Farlands is a very interesting survival game, one that is very heavily in early access and isn't played by many people. But after a few interesting updates I thought it was time to return to the game...

Farlands Steam Description: You wake up and find out you are not home. In fact, what was home? There is no memory of that.
You are on a strange island and there is no time for panicking. Surviving is your only option. You start gathering food, crafting tools and building a base until you encounter something nobody sees every day.... A ZOMBIE! He starts attacking and you do too. He's dead for now... but who can assure he was the only one?
To find answers you start exploring more and more of the island, but the you only get more questions. Why are there are human build areas? Why there is no human life signs if there are human build areas? What was that skeleton?

Hmm nice template.
Maybe lets have a look some differences:
- Left hand item support not there
- Split Stack menu is different
- No damage system
- no chopping trees and no destroying rocks
- no procedural generation
- no support for item placing
- No electricity
- No UI for displaying lockers and cupboards
- building system works quite different
- much more
You can't judge things based of similarities in UI buddy it doesn't work like that.
If I had the knowledge to change it so much and adding things on top why wouldn't I make my own code from scratch and have full knowledge on how it works?
And you can't say I combined code from many other templates.... It would be too much Spaghetti code and nothing would be compatible.
It doesn't make sense 😅

Dev's went three months without updating the game... Big red flag for me.
Dev*. I'm the only dev working on Far Lands. Why its a red flag? Things happen in people life's and you have to consider that. The game is still being updated and I'm trying to push an update a month now. Patches come once or twice a week after a big update.
This "game" is a cheap copy of Rust. If you like this dumpster fire, try out the real game.
