Possibly one of the hardest survival games out there right now, especially on medium or hard mode. thank you for 40k subscribers, you're all amazing. Items I always take are the gun, the bag, and the food. If you know where to get food, you can swap that out for the coat. But you want the gun incase you run into the boars, and the bag for extra carrying. The iron tools aren't the best choice because you can never repair them once they break, and you can quickly make stone weapons once you know what you're doing
This channel is really underrated. When I subscribed I expected you to be at more subscribers than you do, you DESERVE and will get more viewers as you continue making content like this!

This isn't the sort of game you want to speedrun through.
I'm about 60 days in right now and I haven't got the spyglass yet because I'm busy making sure I set up a full camp and have safe zones on the island for myself in case of emergency.
I have the grotto cave which has a fire, some wood, tinder and starter with a bed and bandages in it.
I have a full camp in the center of the island on some ruins, and I set up another small campsite in the cave on the mountain by the compass so I can have safe places to heal, sleep and warm up if I'm out. I'm getting ready to build a camp on the northern coast of the island top and build a site for a raft.
You want to take it slow in this game unless you're playing on easy, because it's not hard to die. The small eared dogs and harpy eagles are easy to deal with if you have a spear and good timing. But those jackals are absolute headaches that will wreck you fast if you aren't careful.

Just joined definitely fun gameplay, I will say the finding survival games thing is interesting, I assume you would be changing styles at some point but I'm also just as shocked you've gotten this many videos out of them, I thought survival games died lmao or sat in unfinished limbo due to hype dying

I died several times before dumbing difficulty down, and even then, still died.
The hunger, sleep, etc dynamics are pretty rough, not to mention the wildlife - those GD birds! - but really most.
At least it looks a lot better than so many others in development, and with some tweaking, it will be thoroughly enjoyable

i actually quite like it no that it is a real (early access)game . They massively nerfed the birds from the demo. Thankfully.
It doesn't do anythign revolutionary new, but the not too pushy story is a nice motovation push over the ususal sandboxes.

Love your videos but I personally think you use gifs too excessively, nothing wrong with it but it becomes too distracting after a while.
I think the only point to this game is so streamers can play and react to it lol. Imo this is the worst kinda survival game, it's unrealistically hard in aspects that make no sense. At least for myself the mark of a good survival game is a balanced sense of realism combined with immersive gameplay and environments. This stuff is entertaining to watch others play for 10 minutes but playing it myself doesn't look fun in the least.

You cutting to those random snippets of random videos saying statements or 1 word is beyond annoying and happening way too often to make the video immersive if im into you fighting birds then you cut to some guy yelling how does that help the story at all? It doesn't come off as funny either to me at least it just annoying , Just play the game and let you personality give the Comedy instead of random youtube videos saying 1 word!
