@John Doe there is a big difference between 250 and 350. Is 250 power is good enough for city driving but not powerful enough for a V6 as many other 4 cylender engines deliver equal or even more power than this 2.5 litre v6. A good example is acura tsx or even civic SI.
O T I own an is250 and give both of these cars a run for their money. As well as the Jetta tsi, and 2.5. I keep up with the GTI’s and sometimes the Golf R’s. That’s what I wanted this car for. You have to know how to drive this car in order to make it quick.
@@fishgeralding9224 I gave examples in my older replies. Honda Civic Si 2.0 naturally aspirated 4 cylinder and many other 4 cylinders deliver more than 200 hp. A v6 is expected to be used for more power.

Mine does it sometimes. What is the actual problem?
Change the mirror then
It's not the mirror that is vibrating that much, the subwoofer is placed directly under the rear glass, behind the shelf. So the whole glass is vibrating like a membrane.
Did you sell your corolla ts ??
He still has it
Didn't sell it, still use it for short distances in town or snow because FWD is better in snow
How are you going to complain about the exhaust?? Straight pipe it if its a problem ffs..
I'm not saying every IS250 should be loud, but my particular IS250 has sport package. Lexus put sportier suspension and wider wheel/tires but I wish they also made the exhaust sound sportier aswell but I understand your point
IS 250 is under powered.
@John Doe there is a big difference between 250 and 350. Is 250 power is good enough for city driving but not powerful enough for a V6 as many other 4 cylender engines deliver equal or even more power than this 2.5 litre v6. A good example is acura tsx or even civic SI.
That's why the engine will run forever
O T I own an is250 and give both of these cars a run for their money. As well as the Jetta tsi, and 2.5. I keep up with the GTI’s and sometimes the Golf R’s. That’s what I wanted this car for. You have to know how to drive this car in order to make it quick.
Let's see, about 153 cubic inches (2.5 litre) naturally aspirated, making 204 h.p. How is that under powered?
@@fishgeralding9224 I gave examples in my older replies. Honda Civic Si 2.0 naturally aspirated 4 cylinder and many other 4 cylinders deliver more than 200 hp. A v6 is expected to be used for more power.
Vukčko PLZ answer you are from Serbia in beograd I am from Bosnia in rujnica

Man talk about nitpicking! It feels like u just wanted to make this video so badly but found out Lexus makes a Damm near perfect vehicle so u had to dig deep for content
260 on speedometer? Is 250. Mine 160..2009
.
Your 160 is in miles, mine is 260km/h
7:20 theyre not the wrong way around, its imitating the feeling of a sequential gearbox, which has the + forwards.
I understand that although a lot of sequeltial gearboxes have the + towards you, but my point is that its natural for a human being to shift with + towards you. Sure you can get used to it but in my case Its very tough. Many times during driving I shift wrong because its inverted than natural forces that push you back. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@VuckoHD yeah I understand, thanks for replying was actually looking at buying one with a manual transmission, since its so heavy how does it cope with city traffic? Does it have to go high in the revs to keep up?
@@brandon4306 No problem, my automatic feels torquey at low rpm but I'm not sure about manual, if it has different gear ratios. Test drive it but I think you wont be dissapointed, manuals are lighter than automatic aswell
@@VuckoHD took it for a ride and bought it! A black manual 06, great cars I love em already got the Mark Levinson audio too (its amazing)
@@brandon4306 Great hope it serves you well and put a big smile on your face! Must be so fun with manual transmission :)
The transmission needs to replace on many IS 250. My IS 250 needed new transmission $5000, water pump $450, alternator $650, electric steering $1200 and headlight $1500. Yes headlights cost $1500 a piece and have their own computer to move the headlights. Also I can not see how fast my car is going or see my tachometer because the needle is a led light and does not work. I live in Arizona where it get hot and if I drive somewhere the car does not start sometimes. The dealer says they can not find the problem. I would think it is a sensor in the brake but they claim they can not fix it because they can not duplicate the problem. JUNK
How many miles? These have the carbon build up issue but these cars should still make it past 200k miles easy before those repairs? And a water pump and alternator is cheap if you DIY. Same with headlights you can pick up oem headlights for around $100-150 used. Or aftermarket to look like 2012-2013 for $350(disables AFS)
@Dot Com lol I don't even see all this happening unless he's past 200k miles. And if all this really did happen he paid the stealership to do all the work
Buddy, whats the odo on your IS??
You got scammed coz u do not know ur machine and ur dealership is aware of your ignorance.
We all make mistakes but yours were way too costly.
Doug Doug they sold you a lemon my guy 😂😂 I just bought my 2009 is 250 in September of 2018 fully loaded 160k miles. It runs just fine only real problems I had with it was a new cylinder chord which was $80 and new tires which only cost me $250. I do have to get a headlight fixed though it keeps knocking out when I’m driving or whenever the car is running like after 8-15 minutes of the lights being on.
250 tires? I spent 900 at Walmart
That guy are from Serbia from Belgrade
steering whee4l is on the wrong side no wonder you dont like it most confusing
The Lexus was not designed for morons who want loud exhausts. The thing I love about mine? It’s beautifully quiet!
I understand that, but my IS250 has sport package and so it would be nice for us who like to hear more sweet engine sounds :)
@@VuckoHD the things you don't like if I'm being honest are really silly and nonsensical. The gears go in high gears to be fuel efficient, provide comfortable and quiet ride. The aircon buttons 😑🤦🏿♂️. The shifting into low gears when you floor it😑🤦🏿♂️. Everybody knows when you want to floor a car and it's in a high gear you downshift to get maximum power faster. If you don't want the car to downshift for you then don't floor it all the way. Keep the throttle at 90% it won't downshift and it'll still give you sufficient power. Then the exhaust? C'mon everybody knows if you buy luxury sport sedans they come quiet to provide smooth, quiet rides but if you want it to be loud you make it loud, and if you want a loud one stock you get the ISF or the M3, or the C63 but your IS350, 335I and C350 do not come loud stock. I guess the car is so good that all the things you dislike about it are just really silly
The quiet exhaust is a waste to the Yamaha V6
fix the scratches
Is it just me or there's a fuckin bug in your car? @4:19
*buy a 350* problem solved
no 350 in EU. Only usa and a few other asian countries got it.
VUCKO NAPRAVI I NEKI VIDEO GDE CES DA PRICAS SRPSKI
why are you so turkish but you're not
Should’ve just gotten a 350 smh
Not available in Europe
Solution for your second point: Buy a manual. Don't know how to drive? Learn :D
I know how to drive manual but in my country all used IS250 are automatics, manuals are very rare plus I still like this automatic because i drive mostly in city
That was his third point. And like he said manual versions are not always available in every country. We all love manuals but no need to be a wise ass about it.
Plus, the manual in IS has really bad reputation. And the automatic is more comfy :)
Manuals cause accidents and they use too much of your energy in the city
At least this car is better than any Russian car.

Don’t drive Lexus🤔
Unlike you, he has a brain.
Blah , blah , blah , then why did you buy this car , so don't complain
I guess you missed the part of the video where I said the complaints are so small and that I still love the car...
The video is primarily for people looking to buy this car, they might look at them as big problems.
Don't also conclude he bought it.
