I know that when the battery gets disconnected or dies for a while, the window switches need to be reset and there's a procedure that needs to be done. If I remember correctly you have to go to each door and hold their window button down until it rolls down all the way and then keep holding it for another 5 seconds, and then roll them up all the way and then hold again for another 5 seconds. Not sure if that might be related to what you're experiencing. As for the memory seats, i know it only works in park, and to set it you hold the set button first and then press any of the numbered buttons at the same time.
@@NavsGarage Try reseting the memory seats like in this video (it works even if you dont hear a beep): th-cam.com/video/kkEQtZkc9vM/w-d-xo.html. I had the same issue and now they are working properly.
I have 2012 is250 base model got under 150k miles. I got really lucky with cosmetic appeal, no cracks or discoloration. Great daily. I had to clean throttle body and replaced spark plugs due to loss of power during acceleration.
I’ve had an 06 sport’s luxury for 5+ yrs. Had no issues so far, I do keep in maintained though. Added a throttle controller for more instant acceleration which I’m glad I did..
I’m surprised at the issues you have had. These cars get great reviews. I bought a used 2010 Lexus 350c ( convertible). So far it’s been perfect. It purs like a kitten. My Lexus has 140,000. It’s an extra car I I love driving it. The convertible is awesome
I just bought one a while ago. So far so good except for exterior cosmetic stuff which is pretty minor for me. And the cracked dashboard on the passenger side is huge but I don’t mind too cause the engine is running good. What really grinds my gears is just the noisy brake rubbing on my front right wheel on slow speed. :)

07’ 58K. What did you pay if you don’t mind? I bought 08 IS350 with 105K in April, did a full tune up and it drives great! Yes my controls for outside mirror and memory seats do not work either!
I got an '08 as my first car and the AC compressor failed while I was on the highway and killed the engine completely. I thought that I blew the motor but I guess it cannot run without the AC compressor since everything is on the same belt. Other than that it's been great
Hey, I have an IS250 too and I wanted to know what percent tint you have on yours? I want to tint mine but I couldn't figure out what tint would look good and I like the way your tint looks
We have a 08 is250. I don’t like it at all. No power, poor interior materials, too much road noise for a Lex and the paint just started peeling on the doors which I have seen on others like it. We had two GS300s loved them both. No complaints
Yah i think the 350 is much more appealing with the extra power. They dropped the ball on the interior trim. As far as road noise maybe I’m sure to my mustang and Miata but it’s fairly quiet.
If you're only getting 24-25 mpg in a is250, either something is wrong with it, or you just have a heavy foot. I get the same millage in my is350 with stop and go traffic and mountain driving.
Me personally I have an 08 250, that I am throwing a little bit of mods into but I am planning on getting a R3 or ninja 400 for something that is a bit more fun to have
@@NavsGarage yeah it is ... But with low miles it's good to a couple drain and fills for the transmission to wash out old fluid. The transfer case for the awd system in integrated into the transmission and the fluid isn't life time like Toyota says lol

I didn’t know about the windows. I’ll look it to that. But my memory seats definitely don’t work
Plus one on this there’s videos on these on TH-cam. Hold down and then hold up on each individual window switch.

For reliability I don't regret buying this car but for power I do, smh
That's why I got the 350. I thought about getting a 250 when I decided to get an IS, but I knew I would end up regretting it.

You need to order and install the OEM brake shims. The brake noise will disappear!
