FYI, Shoto was only able to reignite his new move cause of his seniors' sacrifices so it pretty much consumed most of his stamina. Also if you revisit season 6, Toya's body can't withstand his flames but it can survive the coldest of ice attacks. Just watch or read.
Touya's voice didn't change because of the burn. His voice changed because he hit puberty. In the flashback, he's 16 years old, and 3 years ago he was 13 when he got burned in that forest.

Peak animation specially for MHA standards when compared to the ups and downs from last 2 seasons. The last 2 season destroys most of other seasons bruh 😭 all yall care about animation but mha never had crazy consistent animation to begin with it’s always been sloppy but it’s not they’re fault look at production time bruh
This was a beautifully executed fight. It was more sad/emotional than hype, which makes sense. Imagine having to seriously fight one of your siblings, it’s gotta be a sucky feeling
I've been saying this all a lot lately, but I really just feel super bad for Touya and Shoto here. Like, Touya burned himself up, and the next thing he knew he was several years older and looked completely different and had a different voice. And then he went home, only to realize that his father had essentially just continued on. All of Touya’s fears had essentially come to life. It’s also honestly really sad that Shoto feels the need to carry all of the family’s hardships on his back when none of this should really be his responsibility. Unfortunately, Endeavor spent the last month or so completely neglecting the whole situation, so he’s gonna have to fight All for One now instead, which sucks since Touya seems to really needs to talk to him, and I can’t say I blame him. Still though, I hope that Shoto can get through to Touya in some way. Touya may not want to admit it, bit they have a lot in common.
I feel like it's unfair to say Endeavor has been neglecting the situation because Endeavor isn't in a position to actually do much freely. He HAS to be the most active hero, he HAS to be the person dedicated to taking AFO as the strongest hero in the nation. He can't look for just Dabi and he can't choose to fight Dabi if there is someplace else he's needed. Endeavor was also staying outside of UA prior to Uraraka's speech too, so it's not like he was passing it off. But I do get what you mean, the story isn't complete until that man has a real conversation with his son.
@@Dakenae Admittedly, I do think a lot of this was neglect on his part. He was far from super active throughout the majority of the villain hunt and had time to recover, so he definitely had time to at least respond or come up with stuff to say, but he instead chose to leave without saying anything, even when Shoto reached out again. The act of fighting All for One instead of confronting Touya is partially his own fault on account of how badly he was handling everything after Touya’s broadcast. I do get what you mean though. Endeavor messed up Toya’s mental state so bad that even All For One gave up on manipulating him. Even the Demon Lord himself couldn’t penetrate the hold that Endeavor had on Toya’s mind. Says a lot. Endeavor may not have been able to surpass All Might, but he was able to surpass All For One at one thing: screwing up a kid’s mind. And we also get confirmation that Dabi saw his endeavor against his family as a suicide mission. He doesn’t value his life at all because he has been conditioned to see himself as a failure because he wasn’t able to fulfill the purpose of his birth. Endeavor neglecting him after giving him so much attention when drilling into him how important surpassing All Might was only served to make Toya feel like his existence was pointless. Shoto vs. Dabi essentially operates as a more extreme Deku vs. Shoto. Shoto is trying to get Toya to cool down and stop him from killing himself and hurting others, and he does that by fully accepting himself by uniting both sides of his quirk. Instead of constantly putting a dividing line between his mother and father, he embraces all of himself to complete his quirk. He’s created a unique technique that is perfect against fire users. The development of Shoto’s cold flames is interesting to theorize about as he improves his Flashfire Fist: Phosphor.
this episode was FIYA from start to finish! Loved the ending where shoto punching dabi and shows younger versions of themselves fading away as if its portraying a new chapter. Leaving behind the old scared little boys that had shaped their minds and to break that mold you gotta heal/let go your past

That’s not Endevours OST though😊. It’s Shotos theme, played first during the sportsfestival- fight against Deku and ONLY during Endevour vs the highend-nomu “Hood”, when Endevour finally understands his obsession and what his past did to his children. It is also the moment he gets inspired by Shoto and when he finally realises how he needs to be a symbol for society and keep his promise to Shoto. The track is called „君の力“ Kimi no (chi) Kara - translated it means „your power“ All of the tracks have major foreshadowing in their names for example „I don’t kill my friends“ -Shiggys theme, which was played while he killed his parent. We also just saw him last episode refusing to use decay/ fighting AFO because Dabi was right next to him. And spoilers? „I will break myself“ which has only been played for Deku, Bakugo and Toga this far, during moment’s when they are pressuring themselves…pretty sure we will hear it again this season….😊
I love how Shoto and Endeavors themes share the same lietmotif. Endeavor's has a pounding percussion and searing strings while Shoto's has a whispering bass and a chilling piano. They both encapsulate their characters perfectly. Yuki Hayashi cooked while making those OSTs (like all the others), and the episode director utilized them well for the scenes, making a sort of AMV within the episode. Wow this episode really blew their socks off. I personally thought it was ok. Mostly yapping, trying to cram a bunch of backstory and character development into one episode. The “fight” was literally them just talking to each other while shoot stored energy with 1 barrage from Toya and two attacks from shoto. The fire looked cool but some earlier fights in the series are much more impressive animation wise. I don’t know, it didn’t hit me hard like it seemed to do for others. Not a bad episode though.
i like how people say mistreading instead of teaching (bad teaching at that maybe because is just wood instead of swords manga was better) todoroki enji was too harsh but for hero that is hero training for you a hero family at that obsese to be #1 is not kind tho. but enji was hard too hard. for dabi... man.... mother and father are crap. i lock dabi right away till he get better from the moment he kept using his flame after told not to use it after attacking the family the baby shoto at that. that some mad maniac stuff shoto raise by strong mind mother that can stop enji from time and be the kind to shoto and a father like enji we would have a kikoru shinomiya #1 of his class that shoto is main character shoto. the "whole" family is an issue because the sister seem capable enough (at least now)

what a episode
All for one didn't have anything to do with Toya turning out the way he did at all that was the point of his backstory to show he was always unhinged n uncontrollable
Afo literally kidnapped him, preventing his father from finding him. So yes, he is partly to blame for Touya ending up like this.
I don't think Todoroki killed him, but maybe Dabi sustained too much damage from his own fire to keep living.
Touya reminds me of obito when he got crushed in the boulder
Just to make it clear, Shoto didn't kill Dabi. He would NOT kill his brother despite everything. He wants to stop and save him.
That was all for one who got dabi
If All for One didn’t found Dabi before Endeavor their story would be different…
That's all endeavors' fault, all for one just used the opportunity he had
Yeah man you should always let your children self harm.
Dabi or Touya I guess I should say was born pre-mature which is probably the reason he doesn’t have the proper immunity to his quirk compared to his sibling who were born at the proper time and all have immunity to their respective quirks

bruh we don't react for 1 week and y'all saying we no longer react to one piece smh chill man lol 2 episode drop this week.
@@StruckByBelzi’m just a girl!
One piece is overrated dogshit
I just wanted to say tower of god season 2 trailer just dropped
I can stop mha here. I got what I couldve asked for
Wow this episode really blew their socks off.
I mean I also loved it not because of the fight but the storytelling
Nah you guys tripping, this overall season has been greatly produced, it’s not even funny.
i like how people say mistreading instead of teaching (bad teaching at that maybe because is just wood instead of swords manga was better) todoroki enji was too harsh but for hero that is hero training for you a hero family at that obsese to be #1 is not kind tho. but enji was hard too hard. for dabi... man.... mother and father are crap. i lock dabi right away till he get better from the moment he kept using his flame after told not to use it after attacking the family the baby shoto at that. that some mad maniac stuff shoto raise by strong mind mother that can stop enji from time and be the kind to shoto and a father like enji we would have a kikoru shinomiya #1 of his class that shoto is main character shoto. the "whole" family is an issue because the sister seem capable enough (at least now)
Im sorry doesn’t matter what endeavors does from this point on. He ain’t redeemable no matter what. Dabi just a victim of endeavor’s obsessions
