My favorite combo you showed is the Lamy 2000 with the Private Reserve Tanzanite! That ink looks gorgeous! I need to add a Private Reserve ink to my collection and I think I have found the one. Thanks. My favorite currently ink combo is my Opus 88 Demo color with Organic Studio Santiago Sea Blue with Extra Fine Nib. Thanks for the great video!

I’m really tempted to get another pen, but I’m at my limit for the next month… I’m currently trying to finish the 5 pens I’ve inked last month. Once I’m finished with 4 of these, then I’m inking 4 more: one of which is an estie M nib oversized… it’s my first Esterbrook ever, I’m excited to ink this one (in the sea glass color). Thank you for this video. I enjoy watching these from you very much!

I love the inks and pens this month! I don't usually go for inks anymore. I know what I like on a daily basis and frankly I have too many bottles of soo many colours that inks rarely excite me anymore. But I have the Leonardo Angel Skin pen and I love your combo. Mine is a medium or broad I think🤔... I have not used it for a while, I might be wrong but I think I was on my broader nibs phase when I got it... I usually put light grey tones in it for ink pen match purposes, because I couldn't find a good ink for it. So I'm thinking of getting the colorverse ink. And I love the maple and barley. Orange tones are my 'complementary' colours to my blues. I always have an orange or two inked up. And these are beautiful enough to make me want them 😊
Pretty palette this month! I love how that autumn forest swatch dries; I definitely need to sample it. I've been drawn a lot to Dominant Industry inks lately!
My colour palette is quite cool this month - almost exactly the same as Maria Rousseau’s! I also have Celadon Cat inked up, in addition to Wearingeul For Whom The Bell Tolls, Ferris Wheel Press Bluegrass Velvet, Diamine Oxford Blue and Diamine Bilberry.
I don't usually gravitate toward oranges or reds either, but I've also been trying out a few and really enjoying them. Now I definitely need to add Dominant Industry Maple to my list. Great video, as always.
My hubby surprised me yesterday and took me fountain pen shopping for my birthday! I pulled out your video while I was there - I felt so empowered by your info! I bet you didn’t know a ink swatch video could mean so much - but it did- THANK YOU ! Where do you get the ink samples ?

Watching paint dry may be notoriously boring, but watching fountain ink dry is definitely curious and meditative. It's always much more boring for me to see a final swatch than to watch the process from application to dry-down. I think part of it is that with many fountain pen inks, even the same ink will have some variation between swatches with where any sheen, shimmer, or shading show up.
love the color scheme you chose even if it wasnt intentional lol!! my faves are maple/zodiac pen pairing and autumn forest/just turnings pen pairing. those pens and inks are stunning on their own but paired the way way you have them just takes them to a new level! just as a side note, if you ever want or need a refill of the BPC barley ink, i have a whole bottle (as well as some others from BPC) i will gladly send you some from. i love the color but there is no way i will ever use it all so id be glad to share or swap with anyone on here who would like to.
That wooden sample holder.........did you buy it already made like that or did you have it specially made to hold your samples? I love it, it would be perfect to hold the ink chargers from Ferris Wheel Press of which I have wayyyyy too many!, lol

Autumn Forest is a good one and all Dominant Industry I have tried so far have been great!
