this was so fun! i love this format :) being new-ish to fountain pens i'm learning that even though i like a particular ink based on looks, it might behave differently in each pen.. so now i'm taking note of its dryness/smoothness depending on each pen. Videos like this help so much!

OK. I am SO not a planner. But I am an artist with a whole crap ton of inks that i use for my artwork! This was so useful even for people like me who arent using inks exclusively in dip pens and fountain pens, but also with brushes, diluted with water or other mediums, etc. Thank you! So glad this video showed up in my recommended!😊

I loved your video. I do like the 7 days of ink, instead of a daily video. I enjoy your ink descriptions, it helps me chose samples because I have seen them. Since I liked them when you showed them in your videos. Also, seeing how they work on different papers is also very helpful for a newbie like me. Could you do a video for people who are just starting out with fountain pens?

I love this format and how you incorporated getting more use out of the pens and inks! Even though the daily videos are shorter I find them harder to keep up with so I like this way better.

My monthly setup shows how I decorate and setup my social media planner! I don’t have a separate planner but use just the monthly section for social media.

My Pelikan M605 Black Tortie in EF is my FAVORITE pen. You should try Atlas Iron Ore in it!!

Wow! Those sandwich bag splats look fun, I might have to give them a try. I was curious as to how you a picking which inks you're using for the day. Are you just grabbing them or do you have specific inks you want to use?
I actually made a list of all my ink samples and organized them based on what pen is next in my rotation. I I tried to match the ink to the pen as much as I could! 😊

Nicely done, and so consistent. I'm jealous. BTW, how did you know that the Pelikan 605 would not clog with Ferris Wheel Press Roaring Patina. I get very nervous with thoughts about shimmer inks. I never use them.
I truthfully don't know - but I just cleaned it out today and it was easy to. I also have pen flush which gives me confidence with shimmer! But so far, FWP shimmer inks have been easy to clean out so far.

How good is white lightning! I have a bottle and it's completely changed some inks that were barely usable in finer nibs.

Curious if your pen grip gets uncomfortable after a page or two. I have to try really hard to hold the pen with a light grip.
With a narrow pen, yes. I end up gripping narrower pens tighter which hurts my hand. The Esterbrook Estie is the perfect width and weight and I don’t hold it that tightly and I can write at least two pages with this.
How do you get the shimmer out of the Pelikan?
You mean to clean? I have pen flush that I bought from PenChalet. And the shimmer is actually easy to get out with about 12-15 twists of the piston.
Karyna, where did you get your architect nib? (If you dont mind me asking)
I bought one at Peyton Street Pens and then I had one done by a local nib grinder (Jack Hernandez).
