This thing is amazing retro gaming guy! You open my eyes to the possibility. The best way to do emulation is through PC. What's cool about this, you've got just about every emulator. You can add and delete what you want. This thing is a beast. It's amazing what they can do with 4Tb. Thanks for the video!

I bought this from watching your videos. It’s very attractive built, but it doesn’t have 2 most desirable features. 1: search 2: favorites wheels (I understand that you can toggle favorites in each individual wheel, but we need one universal wheel where we can add our favorite games from multiple systems)

@@mitchellglick8737 Nope and it really bothers me a lot. No search and no creating playlist. It's hard to locate your favorite game. If the wheel has thousands of game like MEME, you haverto do very long scroll to get to your game. No short cut

Is this using Hyper Spin? I can remember using this on my old computer, and it was an absolute nightmare. I remember I had a lot of issues mapping out the buttons to my controller.
just bought one using your code.. probably the best collection i have seen for the price.. going to install into my ACEMAGICIAN AM06 pro Ryzen mini PC.. running a Ryzen 5625 APU.. pretty excited!

Just make sure you have the right specs for PC, mini PC, laptop, etc. The better the specs, the better the performance.

The arcade Indiana Jones games explodes my nostalgic senses... I fell even emotion when I see the preview or song from it.
I purchased for 180.00 with shipping and import taxes from Spain the Retrostation PC4U external 4TB and it will not play Model 3. But it does have WII and WII U games. Thanks for the great video.
Retrostation PC4U is not the same, It`s the chinese version with 2 thirds of doubles and useless versions, including spy software thats only waiting for you to go online, this here is the real deal .... but the asking price is way to high .... You can get a 4 TB Drive for 100 $ if you like , but they really put effort into sorting things out, this must be added to the price tag, but adding it up to 400 $ is a joke. Remember : You must own a Physical copy of the games you are playing, otherwise you got a problem, i see lawyers with Dollar Signs in their greedy eyes, but in the end its up to you ...
@@Tomcat_815 Retrostation PC4U is not made in China. Ricardo is in Portugual or Spain. And it does have some doubles. Most of these builds including this build have games that won't play and have doubles too. 400 dollars is too high and is a joke which i agree. Lawyers are not going do any lawsuits over these build Developers don't care after all these years. I have owned a lot of builds for many years.

Nice. Having the switch emulator in it is good but the games they have for it they couldve kept off. At least you can be able to add better games for it

It'd be nice if ANY of these videos actually launched the game from the carousel instead of providing a demo reel. I honestly can't tell if this footage was captured from the hard drive itself or from another machine.
What games come on the drive? Where is the file list?
What version of MAME? What romset? Are those easy to start?
Can anyone else in the comments verify this? In short, is this completely legitimate?
I'm not the person selling this so it's not my job to try and "sell" the product. I can assure you the games are demoed direct from this. I don't show load ins from the carousel because then each demo would be 2-5 min longer. The video is long enough as it is. In the end any of us content creators could edit anything together to dupe viewers but why would we? We have absolutely nothing to gain from that but pissed off viewers which wouldn't be good. Reach out to kris cool mod. He has a youtube channel and a website. He's the person making these builds. He would have all the answers to your questions.
This is a great video. I really like how enthusiastic you are. Just a question that will determine my purchase. Can I clone the disk or just copy files to a new hard drive so I can use on another windows pc I have laying around?. It really would be a deal breaker if after paying 330€ I could only use in 1 pc at a time. I would REALLY appreciate if you could answer this query for me. Thanks in advance

Maybe I'm naive but the 300 doll hair price tag seems pretty fair for getting over seven trillion games. I feel like a sucker for wasting time searching down individual roms and trying to get them to emulate right.

Wow, amazing video. I’m a new subscriber and have already watched three videos including this one. My question is what kind of specs for a gaming PC do I need for emulation up to PA3, Xbox 360 and Sega Saturn?
Hey thanks for watching. Saturn not much at all. Most pcs wil get you in there without any issues. Below is a link to my gaming pc. It's not top of the line but it's mid level I'd say and all those titles work well on it. Worth mentioning though 360 emulation in general is limited. Not due to pc specs more so due to the emulator just being fairly new still. It does keep getting better though.

I figure I need an 8 core 16 thread with perhaps 16GB DDR4 ram and have researched Ace Magician (Ace Magic), Beelink and TRIGKEY but would be disappointed in myself if I picked a weak mini gaming PC and it couldn't run these games. My budget is up to $1000.

So question. How do the lightgun games work? Do you need additional hardware or are you using a cursor for aiming like on some console renditions??
some will work off controllers / mouse, but really to enjoy it properly you need to buy a lightgun.
Question, what about saving game progress like when we used memory cards back in the day, does it come with a built-in memory card for some of the consoles if not, how do we save? Also is DX Ball in this?
Ask retrobeast they'd tell you the best route to take but I know you can I believe it saves to your computers hard drive I'm not 100% sure on that tho

It costs $400?
$400 Canadian = $300 US. Considering the drive itself runs around $100, that's $200 for 4 TB of ROMs, artwork, configuration of every emulator, unlimited support and lifetime upgrades, pretty sweet deal.

@Dimes most the Chinese one that include controllers are $10 controllers that last like through 3 play throughs then crap out. Plus you can use the 10% code then go buy you those controllers. Or do what's best and use a Xbox controller

I really like Speed Devils on the Dreamcast fun arcade racer give it a try.
It may be a great build but at 326 compared to the Hyperspin 5TB at 126 makes it hard to justify.
I just got a 4tb mini but has less than 100 PS2 games yours has much more, i think i bought the wrong one.

Kriscoolmod does not sell this version anymore. He removed all ps2 games except for 70 of them and only 44 xbox games. This video is midleading for people who actually go to purchase it expecting this same thing like I did, and get something totally different.
Sorry to hear this but I reviewed what I received at the time of filming. This was over 5 months ago now. If a product is updated after the video is made it's obviously going to differ. I don't control the future updates or evolution of products. In this case only he does. Reach out to him directly if you aren't happy with the product. Explain why and maybe he can solve the issue for you. I have no affiliation with him beyond the fact that I reviewed some of his setups.
Hard drives are too slow for some games over USB adapters. The waiting times can be unbearable.

Great collection, big let down on the switch category thought. He has a nicer library on his SteamDeck set up, actual current Switch titles. Very close to pulling the trigger but this pc one is really enticing, I just wish it had the same or better line up of switch titles

I have their 48 TB which has 3 drives, it was pretty much plug and play. They have a great Discord channel with lots of people who can provide support.

Mini may be tough depending on which you go with. A gaming pc would likely be better or a mini gaming pc. This can be booted up on it by connecting the drive (this comes on a hard drive) either externally or internally. Mini pc is going to have to be an external connection.

According to Kris, I have to install this on my C Drive it’s supposed to be a portable plug and play. Why would it take 20 minutes to install a plug and play means you plug it in and you play it. For the price of $400 it should all be set up where you just plug it in and play it.
On your pc? I didn't "install" anything . I just connected the drive and double clicked the software from my file explorer. 2 seconds it loaded up.

You know, show it running some of the harder Nintendo 64 games and some of the Dreamcast games that nobody ever shows like Dino crisis that you skipped right past and the resident evil games on the dream cast, maybe soul Calibur, Metropolis Street racer, 4 x 4 evo, Shenmue etc..
Show PlayStation games that people actually want to play light Gran Turismo, final fantasy, metal gear solid etc..

Thing about these things is a lot of the games on them are going to be buggy and don't play well.

Question. U said that the 4tb mini hard drive had 466 ps2 games but when I looked at the 4tb mini games list that u provided it only read 72 games for the ps2.

I don't think ti would work there but you could pull roms from it and add them to your setup for that

Welllll, At present I'm using just a keyboard with no select button, I've tried tab, shift, and ctrl. I've done it once, but can't remember. Eventually this will be for a arcade cabinet with an extension two player controller, hope that goes easier. So I just can't seem to be able to select the A-Z. How is this running PS5 games when PS4 emulation is still in its infancy? The same goes for the latest XBox systems. It's not just hardware capability. The emulation software just isn't there yet.

Great Video! So quick question. I have an extreme home arcade 4 player Arcade Cabinet running hyperpin with an active marquee. If I wanted to swap to this type of configuration with the 4tb external do you think it would work if my specs were high enough? Do you think it would be pretty difficult to configure the controls on the control panel and the active marquee with a drive like this?
With the Pacto Tech 4000T it should be fairly easy, because it emulates 4 Xbox 360 controllers.
