I've done this too before. It's really fun! I made a Talon Flame, and then my friend commissioned me to make him an Oshawott with a Greeting Card speaker inside that could make Oshawott's call and also play the battle theme
6:08 omg, I know what that is! That’s an e-reader barcode you could use with your e-reader back in the day. Basically no one had them but in Japan they made a whole bunch of stuff for them.
woah, cool! wasn't expecting crafts from you, but absolutely not disappointed! the oddish looks awesome. maybe i'll try this with some of my stacks of mtg commons...
Ive just started making these, i broke my wrist and have 2 month off work. Hardest part is holding down the card and cutting but making it work. Slow and steady.
The E-reader series does has a bar code at the bottom. I forget what pokemon game it went with but you slide the bar code through like a credit card swipe device and you could get that pokemon in the game or something.
Tried a Lorcana card today. Diablo has too much feathers as a first time card :D Had the bleeding problem too, but found another marker that didn't bleed. Sourced some great tips here. Nice
I love this! I hop around between hobbies myself. Currently im making leatherbound books for all my favorute series, but ive also dabbled in making card games. Would love to see more crafty videos :)
Those scan lines are actually scan lines for the reader which would unlock mini games and items in the GameCube and GBA games. There were events and some things only unlocked with cards
Those cards are very cool! How many of each do you need to make a Nice 3d card? I can see someone having many terrains or energy cards, but the number of Oddishes for example may be limited in your collection, as you said you were mostly a player.
How are those glasses? I think I might need a pair as I get older and I have some modelling projects I'd like to do if I could still focus on anything closer than a foot from my face.
Wow, this is so much more complicated than I expected.
Nice. Good tips for the edges. Yay for UV resin!

This was awesome! I watch a couple others who make these 3D cards sometimes and I love watching them be made!
This video has been extremely helpful with picking tools I needed to start doing this and techniques to polish the final result for me. Thank you

Seeing that Tiger Army sticker, I now feel the urge to listen to their full discography.
Love this card art, the depth is such a cool effect.

'Some kind of a scan code'. Oh my sweet child.... may I introduce you to the Game Boy e-Reader?
These cards are amazing! Great work!

This turned out great! May do something like this myself. Keep going!
Never cared about those cards, so cut as many as you want. Also, a very cool idea!
I’ve seen some other videos about this but never knew how to do it. Thanks❤
Although I don't have a big interest in collecting cards, I really enjoyed this video. Hope to see more alternative videos like this from you!

This was so cool to see and watch the process thanks so much for sharing!! I would love to see more! Slowbro next?!:D
Could it be done with silicone and maybe some glitter to mimic cosmo holo foiling or whatever it's called.

I was wondering how you stored them after you were finished with them?

Just imagine going to a TGC Tournament with a deck of those cards
This is super cool. If you are into this you should check out pixel art dioramas
