Damn I wanted to hear them
All we need now is the Down4sound DSP 😂
I'm about to upgrade my full range speakers, so I'll definitely have to heavily consider d4s, especially now that they have these in 8 ohm! I'm sure he's got every size you'd need for woofer's, mids, fulls, and highs. 8 ohm, Perfect for running them in series where I can still get 4 ohm at the amp for my Full range amps!
That's what I'm talkin bout!! Those things are mean looking and exactly the type of product car audio is all about! Definitely got my eyes on a set of these innthe future!
I’ve been waiting for someone to show a demo of this style speaker
Same! I wanna use them on bike rebuild looks like they have good potential
Beautiful.
Would love a sound demo of these!
I've been waiting a while for you to release some subs. But I've been waiting for a couple years for em and can't wait any longer. Guess I'm going to have to buy some from another brand
I mean, JP always has nice stuff, which these speakers are no exception! Nice big pro audio driver's! However, when are they coming out with sub's?
Frequent customer here
everytime I order I request ed stickers & the free swag & literally everytime my order is short the
freebies 😔🙄🤔
Nothing is free anymore, been telling people for a while that the signatures, swag, and even stickers all are additional cost. They used to be free and are free with some stuff but yea
Let's hear them
Them look great will the 6.5 fit in the og 6.5 location can't wait to see y'all subs they gonna look nasty
you can wire up some 8 ohm speakers into lower impedence and be able to use more speakers and not have the class AB amp running at 1 ohm
👍👍
Uneven frequency response of drivers like this make them difficult to work with, plus the compression driver usually doesn't go low enough before the steep cutoff to properly cross to the mid, especially with larger diameters. Does the compression diaphragm use the same motor as the mid? What size diaphragm? Titanium or polyimide? Where are the frequency response measurements? Seems like a lot of information is missing.
I learned more in this comment than this whole video lol
hehe, look at a freq response of a driver. then mount it in the door and measure in seating position. these drivers are for blasting music with the doors open.
These would work well in the bagger audio game. Wish the 6.5 were not as deep
When are we gonna see d4s subwoofers Johnathan?
Will these 6.5” fit in a factory door panel replacement in a typical SUV or Truck? Or would you need to build a new panel for these?
Generally speaking…. I know every car is different but wasn’t sure if they required to be mounted with more air space & depth.
Thanks for the info
106mm???? thats DEEP, thats probably similar depth as my subwoofer lmao (but my sub is kinda weak)
Why rubber surround if it's mid-range, wouldn't the cloth one be better?
Frequency range for each component is needed on the website.
Really hard to get my hands on for D4S in Estonia. Even in EU
Eww they are deep! They look great. Everything you come out great. I'm only familiar with your amplifiers. I love the amplifiers. I've ran a few & still do. I like them just as much as my higher priced amplifiers I've ran. JP isn't going to put his name on something that is (excuse lang) shit. I'm no way a nutthugger, but D4S products have impressed me. My only issue is one my builds charges 16v. It's getting hard trying to find 16v+ amplifiers. But not many people running 16v. I am currently running a D4S amplifier at 16v and haven't had a single issue. But since there not rated for 16v + I would not suggest it. 15.5v I think is fine. Really there's not not much gain in ½v.
If u r running cmax the cell is so much better at 16 then 15.5 ruthless amps can run at 16 and are similar in price
@1-Six-dee so do my Crossfire, DC,and Crescendo amplifiers. My favorite is my Crossfire XT 8K's. But Crossfire kinda pissing me off. Been waiting for 4ch amplifiers for over a year now.
Please let us hear it I wanna know if it’s better than dead ounce Arnold
These look like the Gale Force F-3 Pro series. 🤔
Wish my midbass were 8ohm. More choices for amplifiers. I'm surprised you didn't see 8ohm. Jeramie Hoelzle.
Wonder how these would sound in a boat
What's the reason for 10in mids? Shouldn't a 10" sub take over at that point?
When we going to see D4S subs 😅
We've seen them on the site (look much beefier on video BUT where are the demos??? NO car audio company does demo vids on all of their products. No one. The ones which do usually only do muddled ghetto type "bass" music but not real music or bass music which has true listening mids & highs... just SPL bump music. No demo = No buy. Big D has me onto the JFX speakers & JP77 amp... 100% because of the demos with various music types (and Dyno tests).
I'm not complaining at all... just saying that demos sell. If these sound great, I would buy (a pair of the 10"s, so two singles I guess). Personally, in flux if I'm going JFX/D4S or Kicker for my mids & highs in May. The purple J77 (IF you guys get more purple voltage meters) is guaranteed... just need a grey or purple "knob" to go with the motif... or teal [preferred], lol).
Okay, lost my point... keep up the great work! The demos you've done years ago were very helpful, they don't have to be in-vehicle but please at least in an enclosure of some sort (even down to 3.5" mids). Completely free-air as other manufacturers do and 90+% of YT channels don't even gve a realistic 'virtual experience' for consumers. SPL and competition vehicles provide nothing for us SQ guys/people... especially for mids & highs, which they install and tune like a blind monkey, IMO. No offense to monkeys, even my childhood nickname, js. I got excited but the point stands. PLZ... we want to hear these works of art :)
Ds 18 has the same 6.5 speaker
So does dc audio
And DD…
