  • One of those crazy loco days that happens only occasionally nowadays! A huge variety of locos and moves at Crewe with all sorts of different types of workings..
    A few highlights as follows -
    Top & Tail Class 20 and Class 43's heading back to Kings Norton after a unit drag delivering new Class 777 Merseyrail units.
    60021 hauling 69006 to Longport FD for rectification works and then returning back to Tuebrook Sidings light engine.
    A very claggy 47853 engine start-up and 08631 shunting LSL stock.
    67005 arrives from Crewe TMD (E) to haul a single Belmond coach down to Stewarts Lane..
    Plus a lot more!
    Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching. (Apologies for any wind noise - It was very gusty on times)

    I didn't know that there are so many DB (Deutsche Bahn) owned locomotives in the UK. And many locomotives in the UK are still Diesel (-electric) driven machines.

      Hi Jaap, if you search for videos of Toton Depot, you’ll see all the DB locos. Toton is the main depot in the UK for DB. 👍

      Cheers Kev.. Longport was looking stacked when I went past on the way back. 69008 is out of the shed again so last weeks issues look to have been sorted. 👍

    Nice work bud. Bit confused why the 67 was there but all all explained due to the couple up with the carriage

    great mix of stock can't understand the collab of the 20's and the HST powercars though a bit odd🙂

    • @MDBenson
      @MDBenson ปีที่แล้ว

      RailAdventure specialise in unusual stock movements such as delivering rolling stock and other various wanderings, usually there’s a pair of HST power cars one each end of that rig, likely they were either testing or delivering the 20s on behalf of or in co-op with the 20 189 Ltd company that owns them

    • @AndreiTupolev
      @AndreiTupolev ปีที่แล้ว

      They need locos at either end, and there isn't multiple working connection between them, so they could use anything really

    Any reason why Class 60s are called tugs?

    • @Nate0493
      @Nate0493 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure, some say because they have a lot of power, some say because the horn looks like a ship horn. I’ve heard many reasons!
