Final HST STAYCATION Powercar Heads for REPAINT - Plus other LOCOS and UNBRANDED 805/807's 01/07/24

First southbound run in a long time for LSL operated 43058 which is the final HST Powercar remaining in Staycation Rail Charter Green livery. See the back to back powercars wizzing through Stafford on-route to the Arlington Fleet paintshop at Eastleigh so 43058 can be repainted into Midland Pullman blue.
See also 807002 headed back to Hitachi at Newton Aycliffe via the WCML, Glasgow, Edinburgh and south down the ECML - Presumably to have it's livery applied or some minor maintenance.
A mix of other locos and light engines including Convoy of various plant equipment headed to Nuneaton from Crewe.

just for anybodies information the departmental train at 11:11 is high output Electrification Train this was first used on the GWML ELECTRIFICATION the first unit was named Brunel.

Saw 807002 pass through Carlisle this morning - my assumption its going to get its dings and issues sorted out before Avanti accept it and put the vinyls on. Good to see the 43 heading for repainting to join the expanding pullman fleet. Great collection of catches.

Good video! Presumably 43058 will also have a high level headlight fitted like the other "Blue Pullman" liveried power cars to allow it to operate without the yellow end.
