That was arguably one of the most beautiful versions of my favorite song. The bass is so underrated this song as well - both in difficulty and in how good it sounds. Rock on Fuel!
I miss the old FUEL badly. That was a world class band, and the new one just makes Brett Scallions extra $$$ . He's a great lead singer, but the song writing isn't even close.
Really? Hes that bad even on a personal level? Lol I guess there's no way of entirely telling how self absorbed and egotistical a person is from simply one interview.. that's too bad he is like that because I really like Fuel and they seem talented enough. There is a difference between being talented and being cocky though lol
You'd think a "rock star" would know their instrument is out of tune. The bass player looks shocked as the song starts! Like, "you're seriously not going to fix that? We're going to do this whole song with that guitar out of tune??? Ok, fuck it, you're the boss."... still a great song by a great band, but this performance was extremely amateur. Like a cover you hear by a bar band. Not bad, but not that good either. But don't listen to me, I'm a nobody!
I lost interest in Fuel when Brett left, so I'd say Fuel is Carl's songwriting and guitar and Brett's vocals. If I can't have both, I'd rather have neither.
😂😂 3 nobodies? Bass player was an original member of Shinedown, played on their first 2 albums. Which are much bigger than any version of Fuel. Carl nor Brett can do Fuel by themselves. Toryn sucked and John quit 😂

The song starts at 3:26
First acoustic I've ever heard that is nearly as rich as the original. Amazing. Love, love, love Brett's voice! Rock on Fuel!
Feels like 1998 again
wow he really sounds great! Luv him glad he's back
Just stumbled on this!
WOW!
Ohhhh this song just love it so much! Brett is incredible!
So underrated bands great band see them when they came to Sydney Australia
Awesome talent
pretty damn good, "grandpa!" ya still got it, son!!

No surprise it disbanded, it just didn't work.
@@iuciubbb Wait, you are talking about Brett's newest version, right? Because the old version was very popular.
@@Danielson1818 exactly what I meant.
awesome
His voice still sounds so good. Hot then and still now.
Holy reverb Batman
Nice!
This is Shimmer not Hemorrhage! still amazing :)
That's the original bass player from Shinedown
Never no a killer from a savior
didn't know he worked with the dude from the doors
There's no voice like Carl's.... not even close.
But he is brett
Lmao he's chewing gum!!!! Put me on your show!!!
How did he not notice his guitar was out of tune..?
Mark Wildt Right! C’mon... It’s killin’ me.
just sounds downtuned. Some artists do that to match their voice (in case they can't hit the right keys)
The strings are definitely not in tune with one another, regardless of the key. Still a cool video.
Also this song is harder to play on an acoustic guitar. The spaces are different. But yeah the guitar was definitely out of tune.
It was tuned an octave lower but out of tune. No shame in making a joke or two while you retune. It messed with Mark the whole song.
Time to form your own band, Tim.
The guy on the right is using the acoustic as a bass!..
That’s an acoustic 4 string bass guitar
Could they have at least used some half decent quality acoustics and tuned the damn things? LOL
Wrong song title
ha! yes it was. got it mixed up with another file, thanks for the heads up.
95 WIIL ROCK keep on rockin
it's visible he coudn't reach the high notes, even though that's a great version. Well done guys
Sure to fade away again
this is how you sing it.. covers of this song suck hehehehe
This bass player needs to go back to his parent's basement. Super disrespected the moment.
Indeed. I know the clown. He has some ego going on in him.

Is it the guy on the right? He looks kinda like Pat Monahan from Train. Lol
How? He didn't even say anything, he just did his thing and played the song.

It’s usually great, but he’s clearly out of tune..
This isn't Fuel. It's Brett Scallions and 3 nobody's. Carl Bell was Fuel. This is terrible.
Yep! Was thinking the same thing. No Carl, No Fuel.
I lost interest in Fuel when Brett left, so I'd say Fuel is Carl's songwriting and guitar and Brett's vocals. If I can't have both, I'd rather have neither.
I thought something was off

Carl nor Brett can do Fuel by themselves.
Toryn sucked and John quit 😂
Fuel is Brett Scallions. He’s the voice. The others are just covers.
Wow, great job guys. Sounds like shit!!!! Pretty cute calling yourselves Fuel 🤦🏻♂️
Well that didn’t age well.
