Half of the video was shot in June and the other half in July. Birds that are observed change, and so does the vegetation which fairly reproduces what can be seen around in the countryside. This park is old, on the outskirts of Tokyo and rather large compared with others. It is a very popular park especially for birdwatchers who want to film 2 species of water birds that normally breed there: the little grebe and the kingfisher. Lately, kingfishers have less nesting places and young kingfishers in the city are rarer.
A pair of Japanese lesser Sparrow Hawks nested in this park. Their young are not fledged yet.
