@@Lanius_rius Hello thank you for your kind message. Yes it is a wonderful place in the right time. Plenty of different little lives from insects to birds. It takes time to find them though. Very best wishes for the end of the week !🙂🙂🙏🙏‼️
Hello! 👋 ! Thank you very much for your message. Indeed nature produces plenty of lovely and very varied creature and this place is full of them. It just takes a long time to find them ! My best wishes for the end of the week !🙂🙂👋👋‼️
The rainy season has ended, and the hot summer has begun. Thank you for the wonderful video showcasing flowers and butterflies. The highland wetlands in summer are full of diverse flora and fauna, and the climate is pleasant, making one want to stay for several days. However, it's important to be mindful of sudden weather changes. Have a great summer!
@@NikkoWildBirds How extremely kind ! Summer isn’t pleasant in Tokyo. We just had a kind of mini tornado. It was rather scary. Weather is changing. Yatsugatake was really great but it was necessary to be there at dawn : troops of visitors and bus loads of schoolchildren arrive from 9:00. Fortunately they mostly go to Yashimagahara and with efforts we can find interesting insects , flowers and the same birds in the other wetlands. I am looking forward your filming Nikko birds. But of course you have the same problem with visitors. Maybe better wait for September ! I wish you a cool month of August. And of course plenty of good luck managing everything. 👋👋🙂🙂🙏🙏‼️
@@wildhomevideos Thank you, plants are great but not many people realize their importance. They are also very interesting. Very best wishes for yourself and your lovely flying companions !👋👋😊😊‼️
@@dragon-acrocantho 🙏Hello friend!Thank you very much for you kind message. Yes this place is just unique ! It attracts an enormous number of visitors in the summer but being wetlands they are contained by the width of the board walk. The rest belongs to all amazing creatures from insects to birds and, at night foxes and maybe some Japanese sika deers that come out of the larch forest. I wish you an excellent month of August not to hot!🙏🙏👋👋😊😊‼️
@@gijsvermeulen5248 Hello 👋 ! How very kind: thank you very much. It was one of the loveliest places I have seen in Japan in spite of the weather. My best wishes for the summer. 😊😊🙏🙏‼️
@@Fortheloveofbirds2020 Thank you indeed. It’s normally really crowded in this season but due to the late monsoon there were very few people on the track. With a little drizzle as well. Flowers are always there in this season but little birds show up only when no one is around especially if they have chicks. I wish you a lot of great birding in your spare time : it’s always very good for us all. Very best wishes !🙏🙏🦜🦜🦉🦉🦅🦅😊😊‼️
What a wonderful place, thanks for bringing it to life for us. Interesting to compare your Amur Stonechats with our Stonechat Saxicola Torquata. Your Bush Warbler seems to be as reluctant to be seen as our Cetti's Warbler but has a very melodious call. I imagine it's fairly tough going up there so well done for persevering to bring us this record.
@@johnluk Hello and thank you indeed. It’s easy going to the wetlands if you have a car. Afterwards it’s boardwalk. The problem : it’s narrow and only cameras are allowed ( no tripods or monopods). It’s very well marked and cordoned so that you can’t step out of the board walk . Besides it’s altitude wetlands (very rarely birds in the water). It’s great for insects and flowers. The Japanese bush warbler hates being seen in the open. You hear it in many degrees of altitude but seeing one long enough for filming is just luck. I was very interested by your video with the marsh harrier flying. Really this Goldcliff RSOB reserve is amazing with its wetlands and so many birds even in summer. And thank you for the flowers as well: it was great. I hope your month of August will be bearable temperature wise. Very good luck and health.👋👋😊😊🙂🙏🙏‼️
