Well personally, after years i have learned at least 1 thing: never let others get you down. It's simple, if i have failed, it's something i should learn by. There's no definite meaning of success or failure, we're failures the moment we think we fail. And when i can't please others after trying so hard? Simple, it's because they cannot see my effort. Get up and do it again, once you have got determination. That's the trait of my life.

Amazing how they can convey so many feelings in a song. Whenever I'm in a loss of words, I listen to their music, and it helped me to deal with the pain and sadness I went through.

When we can't please people, even though we tried our best, it hurts. We feel like a complete failure. I hate that feeling. :/ You tried your best and yet you still fail. It's not right. When are we gonna be good enough, what do we have to do? Life is crazy and it sucks sometimes, but that's just life and not all the time are we gonna be please everyone. That's the bad part. Life still goes on though. All we gotta do is just live it and not care what people say. :/ Cuz that's all we can do.

Even great people have regrets, and every now and then we cry sometimes :) but greatness is not measured that way. The great ones do want others can not. Move on. Sometimes it just takes a while, but that is ok, No one can immediately do what must be done.
I kno this is going to sound weird, but they are beautiful to me. Their music, his amazing voice, and then they lyrics that he writes all are just so wonderful. And all together these things make them the best band i have ever known of.
I listened to this song before and never knew what it was about, I just always liked how melancholy it was. Now that my dad is forever angry at me for moving with my mama, this song hits something hard deep with me. I hope my dad will listen to this one day and hear my voice behind it, so he can know how I feel.

His voice drives my heart crazy & stirs up the love like its sand on the bottom of the ocean. In my ocean like heart, there are many kinds of people in it. They are all represented by colored sea shells. Some are soft, kind. Some are rough, not so kind. But i still love all of the people in my ocean heart equally ^_^ This piece of beautiful music makes me think of the ones i love. I love the meaning & the video picture gives it a different feel that was absent until i watched this

Well, it all depends on how you're raised up, in my opinion. I'm American, and at times, I have no positive thinking. But at other times I do. And besides. We're all people aren't we? We all breathe the same air, live on the same kind of land more or less. Everyone has their sad times, everyone has their happy ones. It just depends on how you take it. :)

Americans don't have an especially positive thinking. They're just people like most.
And positive thinking is nice and all, but if one has to forget about the bad things in life and only think about the good ones in order to be happy, doesn't it say something about how depressive their life really is ? I personally advocate for seeing the whole of things, good and bad side. Realism, I have found, is much better than both pessimism and optimism, as it allows to see things for what they are.
