This song is for my life story right now, because I was worried that after the pandemic, that when things really go back to normal; I feel like that I am being abandoned by my close friends that I used to go to school and college with. There's just so much in life that I never get to hang out with one of them. What if the friendship that I have with them was all a lie. By that I mean, when you try to get to know someone and want them to be your friend; but then all the sudden they use you and take everything they want from you and abandoned you, leaving you unimportant. And when I try to tell something to someone I know in particular, he or she is unwilling to pay attention to me without any reason. Little did I know is that friendship and loyalty is every individual for themselves, most of my friends from Class of 2015 treated me like I'm out of the category. When I try to make new friends, the other person or people that I want to be friends with felt like this is more like what I want, not what they want. Deep down I have better hope for them, but for them they find that selfish (like I'm not giving them a choice). Like no matter what I do or how I do things is not always helping to others. Especially when I hope to reunite with them after going through physical distancing for so long, it is not always easy because the friend I've been wanting to reconnect with believes that my friendship with him or her was a long time ago. If there is anyone that I know who is listening to this, should at least try to follow what my heart tells me to do.

This song sums up exactly how I felt when I was a teenager taking karate classes going for my black belt. My sifus would push me to my breaking points and I would tried so hard to met her expectations but it never was enough and I was so scared to fail that I stopped trying. After a while I started to hate myself for not being strong enough both mentally and physically, whenever I would go to practice I felt like I was the weakest one there (I was the only girl in my class at this point) and I wanted to fade into the background, I felt unworthy. I also grew envious of my brother who was doing much better than I was at this point. It got so bad that I would lock myself in my room and just sit on my bed thinking about everything I did wrong during class and the disappointed look she would give me. I wanted my black belt more than anything but I felt that I was undeserving of it and didn't deserve to be their student. I learned a year ago that my teachers both retired and moved away, I was heartbroken. Looking back on it now I regret ever giving up and not giving it my all. I still practice but I always think of the person I could have been if I didn't give up on myself.
I have a crush on this boy at school. I had a crush on him when I first saw him. And it's the last day, today. But he didn't come and I was gonna tell him that I love him( I do still) But yesterday was his last day. I'll never nee him for three months until fall again. Unless he moves back to Canada, then what am I going to do with my life? With the life he made me feel? When I'm with him, he makes my life feel like an actual life. But oh well. I failed. Both my biological parents are alcoholics, my mom drank all through her pregnancy with my sister and majority through mine, my little sister almost died... Because it all happened when i was so young i dont remember much, but i was in and out of foster homes for the first 6 1/2 years of my life, until my dads cousin adopted me. The lady i now call my mother, i was legally adopted and am now in a safe environment, but somehow even though im 22 years old now, I still wish i could see and talk to my parents... i dont remember them and i havent spoken to them since i was very little, even though i dont really know them, i miss them, more than words can describe. But the woman who adopted me, my mother, she is and forever will be my lifeline. She is the reason I am on this planet, and even though we have our fights, i still love her with every breath i take. ♥

I have a crush on this boy at school. I had a crush on him when I first saw him. And it's the last day, today. But he didn't come and I was gonna tell him that I love him( I do still) But yesterday was his last day. I'll never nee him for three months until fall again. Unless he moves back to Canada, then what am I going to do with my life? With the life he made me feel? When I'm with him, he makes my life feel like an actual life. But oh well. I failed. I knew I should've told him homecoming when it was just me and him.

I remember hearing this song from the movie The Wild (2006) and I didn't relate to it until years later, basically present day. Ever since I graduated high school for about 5 years ago, I feel like I am a failure to my parents. They don't like the major I picked, which is sociology. They think I won't earn good money doing "whatever that is". I hear this song and I just wish my parents can be proud of me one day. ;u;

This song is very sad but i can relate to feeling this way so many times.
Both my biological parents are alcoholics, my mom drank all through her pregnancy with my sister and majority through mine, my little sister almost died... Because it all happened when i was so young i dont remember much, but i was in and out of foster homes for the first 6 1/2 years of my life, until my dads cousin adopted me. The lady i now call my mother, i was legally adopted and am now in a safe environment, but somehow even though im 22 years old now, I still wish i could see and talk to my parents... i dont remember them and i havent spoken to them since i was very little, even though i dont really know them, i miss them, more than words can describe.
But the woman who adopted me, my mother, she is and forever will be my lifeline. She is the reason I am on this planet, and even though we have our fights, i still love her with every breath i take. ♥
