I was looking for a way to lower my Road Glide a few inches without spending thousands of dollars. I came upon this video, and I enjoy watching Steves videos, so I took a chance and order the 2 in lowering blocks. I was Suprise how easy it was to install them. It took me a bit over 30 minutes, but the results are amazing. I can actually have my feet flat on the grown now. It makes a big difference when stopping and walking the motorcycle backwards. Thanks, Steve for the video and introducing me to the lowering blocks.

Hey! this is Steve from SIK Baggers..I actually run both channels. Ive seen one instance in 15 years of installing them and I didn't even see that first hand, it was an image. Let me assure you that whoever had that happen hit something they shouldn't have. Under normal operating conditions you will not band a shock because you moved it back an inch or two. Weve ran lowering blocks from just about every company making them and never had an issue with them.
I just installed fox reservoir shocks over the stock shocks, but still want that lowered rear end. Do you think it is ok to install these lowering blocks with them? I had the lowering blocks with the stock shocks for over 2 years and loved them!

Back in the day, we used to mount our shocks, like that on our dirt bikes, to get more rear wheel travel "lay down shocks". Does your kit change the actual amount of rear wheel travel? '

Hey Steve Just put the lowering blocks on my 2018 Ultra Limited do you have any suggestions for the kick stand? With it on the stand seems just a little to centered if you’re not on level ground. Great videos
it will lower your about appx 1.5 inches and has a 2 inch kick back. We have had no reported problems with anyone hitting the fender as long as you have oem shocks on your bike. We cannot vouch for anyone running shoter "slammer" style shocks
Not sure why it would ride hard by lowering it one inch..you still have the full range of travel that your current shock offers. Moving it back one inch does not change the or limit the travel.
running a 21 and lowering blocks on the back are a very popular modifications... I'm not sure what you are asking. Effect your suspension how? It will lower the bike, yes. The shocks will still work the same. The optimum riding position is for the frame to be parallel to the ground. So changing that will inadvertently change how the bike handles but with that being said, it will not make it handle bad, it just changes the way you enter corners slightly. After your first ride you wont notice. Its just a slight change. I would say as far as mods on suspension the 21 front and lower back is one of the most popular mods we see.
Lowering or raising your bike will always affect the handling...Its not so much that you cannot ride it or get used to the change in a matter of one decent ride...millions of lowering blocks on bikes as we speak...so its just a matter of adjusting to the change.

Ordered mine 10/29 and due 11/02 Great speed shipping. I had my 1988 FLHS lowered and I never experienced any issues.

yes..there is no need to buy a shorter stand when lowering your bike.

no this will not make your front wheel look bigger.

They do fit the 2024...I had them on my 24 RG before I went to air ride..they will indeed fit with no issues.
